Other than tits liking that he did pushups, why does this guy have a HC position in major college basketball?

Take it to the 3-0 in Italy board.

They should relieve him of his duties early so Will Conroy can show he can do as interim HC.

Fetters pulling out the old "it's not the coach's fault that the players can't shoot"

Walton insinuated in the broadcast that UW doesn’t work on shooting or shooting drills in practices he’s watched. A lot of situational Mumbo jumbo. Save his buyout and give it to football. Who cares.
How about we take it away from the Olympic sports that dozens attend?

Like I said earlier, at the Stanford game I saw them practice and then they had their own hosted spot in the paid part of the zone. At a minimum the guy just acts like everything's positive and he's happy to boat to work for the remainder of his contract. The team is just soft, almost like they're content after the previous season where Brown had to carry them on offense.

scoring 49 points when you're in the middle of Seattle basketball talent is fireable at center court. For fucks sake, you can pretty much use the Cuog as a farm system if you want which is what they did getting Noah so easily.

I'm sure Jen (or more likely Andy Fee and the boosters) are weighing their potential candidates they could get this year or seeing if they can ride out one more year and someone better might become available then. It's embarrassing though. The NBA huskies seem to have a lot of pride in the program even, fucking get it together.

Question is, does Jen want to retire or do another coaching search?

One more on the market. A little upper campus reeducation and good as new.

Fuck off with this, a lot of people would. UW has the financial resources to pay well, rich talent right in your backyard, good enough national reputation to recruit at a high level, etc.

Go find the basketball equivalent of DeBoer. It’s even easier to do in hoops because there are more D1 programs, and thus more options and candidates. I could put a list together in a couple hours of coaches who have won at an extremely high level at every stop, and would be a good cultural fit at first pass, and start there. Toss in a few wild cards from non-traditional backgrounds (they interviewed Musselman last time) and there’s your short list.
So close to making a great hire. Then she hired Mr. Push-ups. FML

Christ. For $2 million the Throbber will toss on the coaching shorts again and get after it.

There was a sweep in the desert - wonder if it will change things

He thought a sweep in the desert (for UW) was even a possibility?

I played Sports Story on Switch instead of watching this game.

Sports Story is a joke after 5 years of development and still filled with countless bugs due to mismanagement.

Still better than what Hopkins has done with 5 years of fucking boating to work drinking fancy coffee at the University of Washington.

It is your most persuasive point in this discussion rather easily.

    A tradition of excellence!

I want to believe that the Seattle pipeline is worth it but when you step back and look at it, its a bunch of point and shooting guards with a few quality bigs sprinkled in here and there. Then keeping the bigs has been a struggle, or they don't really pan out, and if they do pan out they are one and done. If the area was producing big after big I'd say it would be more desirable. Seattle basketball culture is great, but being honest about what it produces, you temper your expectations.

Since Romar became head coach, the only local players (that I can think of) that stayed at UW and were drafted, that were above the average NBA height of 6'6 are Jon Brockman, Jaden McDaniels and Spencer Hawes.
