Nice intro, Derek. I can see why you omitted it from the pod, as a lot of it would have been redundant, but it was still a good read. I'm curious what the background/jobs of those guys under the awning were that had them unable to create a Hardcore Husky account.
I agree with @iDawg: Operation Husky was better. When I tell somebody I post on Hardcore Husky, I always feel the need to clarify that it's a UW football site and not @IrishDawg22's favorite porn depot.
The politics stuff in the pod was interesting and unfortunate at the same time. I absolutely agree with @Swaye's philosophy when it comes to differentiating between who somebody is and their political beliefs. It's easy to fall into the trap of assigning a moral failing to the complicated process of indoctrination and tribalism that leads to political philosophy, and I've been guilty of it myself, but if I weren't willing to enjoy the company of people who voted for "the wrong guysm," I'd have to cut 80% of the people I care about out of my life, including 95% of my family, in-laws, and coworkers, most of whom are great people, so that would be sad. For my part, five minutes in the Tug was enough to convince me that I'd rather just hang out in the other forums, where I can figuratively "have a beer with" good people (and some dicks) over football or recruiting or still-to-this-day-being-jilted-over-being-dumped-by-Sark, than spend time in the Tug hating absolutely everyone.
I still credit Coker and Dennis (and Teq, be he's still here) for getting me here, as it was somebody mentioning TSIO on UWDP that led me to that podcast, which led me to HH. I'd take those guys back in a heartbeat. That being said, and very ironically if it was political differences that led to their flight, the only time I took a break from this place was because I was tired of the casual racism that their Petersen recruiting takes promoted. Was not a good look for the board, particularly a board with a color pallet similar to the Ashgabat Sherwin Williams*.
Given this is snowflake generation, you should mention every butthurt moron that did not get a mention in the next pod. Participation trophy generation is ruining this great country
Ok, that Pup post dramatic reading at the end had me laughing out loud at the gym. But how could you not include his magnum opus - the famous "fancy feast" monologue?

It's weird to think about thousands of people lurking these boards. I liked the write up @DerekJohnson what was the HHB board all about and why did it shut down?
