It was a serious offer. 10k is a pretty normal bet size for me (when limits allow anyway, I just hit whatever the max is) but feel free to take a lesser amount if a 10k bet scares you.
@Doogles could escrow or we could use a site like Fairlay if you’re BTC-friendly. But it sounds like you’re more of the blowhard type despite claiming to “bet against sizzle”.

Sounds like you have a big swinging dick. Here's my offer.
Keep stopping by though, I'll still be here talking shit about your new coach. At some point you might even learn to not be cuntsore about it.

From his 27-5 record at JSU, the dude literally has two wins against non-HBCU schools. One-score wins against Delta State (who?) in 2021, a team that finished 5-6, and Campbell (who?) this year, which also finished 5-6.
Coach Prime should probably beat up on more than underfunded HBCUs before we crown his ass.
But he’s coaching a HBCU school. That’s the level he’s at. Eddie Robinson didn’t beat Bama either.
An HBCU that vastly out recruits their competition and is insulated from the entirety of the rest of the FCS. SWAC teams won't even go to the playoffs, they just won't.
Let's see how Prime does when the obscene talent advantage evaporates.
And ...???????????????? Why do you think that is?
I'm always amazed when people get criticized for being successful.
If you think you can extrapolate his relative talent advantage at Jackson State to a P5 program then go ahead and make the case.
I'm personally skeptical. It's one thing to cash-in on your name recognition and out-recruit the underfunded dinosaurs at Grambling and Alcorn State, and it's another thing entirely to do that against a major college football program with endless coffers of fuck-you money to throw around. People like to bring up Deboer running train on the NAIA when he was at Sioux Falls because "winners win". But Deboer also had to cut his teeth at numerous assistant coaching pitstops and a mid major gig before a P5 program even considered ringing his phone. Prime has skipped a few steps because he's Prime, and Colorado is desperate.
So all that's to say that this Prime hype train is out of control and eager for an epic derailment. And I'm a simple man, so I simply bet against sizzle when I see it. That strategy hasn't let me down yet.
What would you set the Buffs o/u on regular season wins at for next year?
5 wins
I’ll take over 5.5 for 10k if you’re interested in backing up your talk.
I’m looking at the Buffs’ schedule and I only see four wins (Nebraska, CSU, Arizona, Stanford)…maybe one upset (Beav? ASU?). I’m not disagreeing with you @BuffBuffPass, I’m just curious who you see as the potential 5th and 6th wins.

I look at it more in percentages than who I see as wins but @Coug, Beav, @ASU. Not counting out a few others that some might think are out there but if we get the type of roster turnover I expect to see, there is no game on the schedule that is unwinable. I'm expecting to see an offseason like USC had last year but on steroids. TCU might be the biggest reach just from the time it will take to gel with such turnover, although @Utah and @Oregon are actually tougher games.
Love seeing BuffBuff get a little spicy with his new coach.
I'm sure he is. And if I gambled with every stranger I talked shit with on the internet I'd be a poor and destitute man. Some hobbies I like to keep free.
The state of Colorado has had a full blown AIDS outbreak this year as it relates to football. This is huge for them and they clearly don’t know how to handle it.
Coach Prime is bringing in some serious coaching talent to CU. We just got Sean Lewis, Kent State's HC who was a hot commodity early in the cycle, as our OC.

You play TCU, SC, Utah, UCLA and Oregon on the road.
You also go to Pullman and host Oregon State next year. Not to mention an improving UA.

People forget that Eddie Robinson was 0-3 in the FCS playoffs as well.

After he lands the FSU/Texas/Clemson jobAfter he flees to the NFL for some flagrant recruiting or other NCAA violationOnce he replaces Ryan Seacrest on “LIVE with Kelly and Ryan”After he becomes Saban’s OC at Alabama

I’ll take the under at 5.5.
For $81 of course.
