Good pole. I could have gone with several. Little Bill was just perfect though.I was thinking Little Bill, but one of my criteria for ultimate tough guy is that he's the toughest guy in the movie. So, like, in Josey Wales, there's nobody tougher than Wales. The man lives by the feud after all.
PGA national is usually a tough course
Knapp is an up and comer. Has one win in a non sig event
It's more like 100 percent redacted
Not sure that's something to celebrate
The Oregon/Washington rivalry would be great regionally, but don't know if it would be interesting enough nationally. It's really unfortunate UW didn't have their shit together more in the early 2010s to have better games with their best teams the way Stanford did.
I think you would work just about everything 90-92 into one centered on BJ, including backstory on Don James leading up to that, including insight from Saban. You can touch on the disappointment of 1990 - losing close at the eventual national champion and somehow losing to UCLA at home. Then the starting QB (and eventual NFL star) gets hurt in the offseason and opens the door for Hobert.
we need more Gil Dobie content. 58-0-3 in 9 seasons at Washington. Also won 3 consecutive natties at Cornell
Kinda makes me puke, but you could do the uo/uw rivalry. Completely lopsided forever…then the PAC 10 fucks us and uo scavenges our 20 less scholarships (Sirmon, etc). Rich Brooks/Wheaton wake up uncle Phil in ‘94 and uw lets little brother keep powering up.
A tragic tale…but great television.
Looks like he ran a 4.58 and his numbers look overall pretty good. Hopefully he can get drafted.
