I don't see either of those as sure things to help though. There's an equal chance that Raley gets healthy and has one of his hot streaks, but again I'd rather not count on it.
That sounds like a lot of bitching. I'm pretty impressed with what they did though.

If they can get another bullpen arm, I’m all for it, but Dip has done what M’s fans thought could never happen. If you told me they got Naylor and Geno and nothing else, I’d be happy. They have a very solid, deep MLB line up now, and people are going to have to figure out who they are going to pitch to, and around…

Climate science is a hard truth, one that we aren’t close to understanding as evidenced by the predicted outcomes of the 97% not even close to coming true. But the entire formula is 100% out there to understand one day.
Economics is the complete opposite. It’s about the softest thing imaginable. Chock full of psychology, emotion and other non-hard truths. There is no hard formula for it and never will be. It’s why discounting phd’s academic papers in this field is like the easiest thing ever to do.
