Re: Biggest comebacks for UW in modern era
As long as it’s 80’s and 90’s Cal and not 2003-2019 Cal. We always seemed to lose to those guysms.

If a silver bullet is a lager then it’s a no brainer. I’m on 17 right now

Pale Lagers! I used to have beer parties as a kid and since I had worked at a tavern that featured beers of the world I had fun wit the blind taste test we always had with 12 beers from around the world + the local beers to challenge peoples perceptions of what their “favorite beer” actually was.
The idea was to announce to the crowd what the tester’s favorite beer(s) were and then listen to hear what they actually thought as they blind tasted ~ often describing their fav beer as rainwater / cow piss to the delight of the crowd.
Hands down the consistent winners were Canadian and Mexican Pale Lagers… biggest losers were the Euro Pilsners and wacko warm ale’s

When it got to. 20-0, I said to the wife “Thank God it is still baseball season, I’m done”, and went to my man cave to watch Yanks / Jays…yer welcome…

Maryland was coming off a bye. Maybe they were showing looks that were not seen on film.

They have no football history and it’s probably more an event. They used to be a wannabe basket school.
@Michigan will be the next pivotal game in Fisch’s UW career. If they come out like dog shit again it’s on the HC. Hopefully this will build a little road confidence.
@Wisconsin sucks and all of a sudden @ucla isn’t completely dead with our house of horrors with that program. I’d take 2-1 at this point with our 3 remaining road games.
Re: Head Coach Jedd Fisch Postgame Press Conference: Ohio State
To be fair, DeBoer didn't have to take a huge number of transfers because Petersen and co did such a good job of recruiting his last few years and DeBoer inherited them. The roster was pretty loaded outside of QB, RB, and the secondary.
The NFL departures and the portal change forced Fisch and co. scramble to add bodies so it's really not a valid comparison.

Re: That was a gritty win
I think Locksley being a shitty coach was part of their implosion. The CB that got called for taunting (it was a bullshit call and always is) was acting ridiculous. It was a first down fade that was incomplete. We still had three more plays inside the 10. I couldn’t believe he was still throwing a tantrum. Move the fuck on. I would lose my shit if our starting CB was acting like that.
