Re: Washington is never losing a coach to UCLA
Yah I’ll work on that sorry @Canadawg @TheHB. @board
It’s a big joke between my kids and grandchildren in our family group chats on WhatsApp. Especially when I ramble sending a voice message texts. Thankfully my great grandkids haven’t entered the chat since they are toddlers.
Re: WHO WINS or: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Beat The Ducks
Only 2025 means fuckall, and the answer is yes.
Let's see how this "generational defense" holds up while Jeb and the offense repeatedly trips over their dick in a rivalry game.

I don't think clinging to the Clearinghouse thing is a great idea. I assume if it's truly enforced you would just see the biggest spenders pivot back to backchannel payments. I do think Caple's podcast said a really high percentage of the proposed deals apparently so far have been denied, which I like. I'm all for players getting paid actual value but not a fake market inflated by a handful of boosters who drive everything up.
I also think it's naive to just say Clearinghouse etc is great for UW. Are you sure it's not just that UW is willing to overpay for guys like Green and DCB because they're local and that won out? Or, outbid UW-level programs for the guys we do get?

Roll with the exact line and players you have been. Don't want guys that have been hobbling around for a month+

Re: Why Washington Husky LB Jacob Manu won’t play against No. 7 Oregon
ZRS wasn’t ready from his knee injury to play when Buddha went down. They would have played a few games with just Bryant and Alexander at LB. They needed him to play before they wanted to use him. Injuries suck and make it so you do things that weren’t in the original plans. Judd isn’t my favorite character but ragging on him for this is kinda stupid.

Re: Husky Jacks open thread [2025]
I think we lose. Oregon is better this year. We have a lot of young guys that play and are good. The recruiting is good. The better we are, the easier it is to get guys in the portal. I bet it’s easier to sell a good player on next year’s team than in 2024. We won’t get worse.
You don’t always gotta keep the same script. Get some new writers in the room buddy. Fire Damone. He did this with DeBoer.

I heard there were 2 pretty high rated SoCal kids (Committed) in the Rose Bowl Saturday night, on the UW sideline. One was Finney (LSU)
