Anyone who votes for Jedd is as retarded as a Katie Wilson voter.

Cig brought 55 guys with him
It can be done by coaches who want to win not pontificate about youth
Fisch is clueless when it comes to the new reality

Re: Josh Naylor re-signs with the Mariners
Going to spring training in March for the first time ever. I'm not a huge baseball fan, but I do like to sit in the sun, drink beer and point out flaws in others.
I don't know why I've never gone to spring training before. It seems like the perfect vacation.

Re: Purdue Game Thoughts
Important to keep in mind:
Willis was injured versus Ohio State and missed the games against Maryland, Rutgers, and Michigan
Mills was injured versus Maryland and missed the Rutgers and Michigan game
Both Landon and Azzopardi were injured vs Wisconsin and missed the Purdue game
In our weakest offensive games there's been OL-related injuries impacting them all
It's pretty obvious that they trusted 6 OL this year (starting 5 + Paki)
As the year has progressed you got the sense that they trusted Champ but wanted to preserve his RS

Virginia Tech doesn’t have Demond Williams and the rest of our talent already on their team. I’m sure they have a couple of good players, but they have been bad for quite awhile. I know some here mistakenly think that it’s easy to portal your way to success, but it happens rarely. Texas Tech has done it.

I can't think of any team other than TT who wholesale flipped a roster with any success. Lanning came into a situation with top 15 blue chip ratio or whatever BS. The dude at JMU is doing a good job after Cignetti left and poached the roster, but he still inherited what Cig built. Cristobal was 12-13(6-10) his first 2 years.

Re: Hardcore Husky Podcast: After Purdue Plungering, has Joey tested Doog-positive?
Fisch does have a point and Huff did him no favors by whiffing on too many guys in his last couple of years but it sounds like he is making too many excuses when he mentions more than once or twice.
I think they will be able to keep Walters at least one more year and he could get a raise with another year tacked on his contract. Oregon will definitely be a big test though they did play Michigan on the road and Michigan also has a very good running game. What has me more confident is that RS-Soph Elinneus Davis has really been coming along and RS-JR Bryce Butler is showing up more too. Combine that with ZRS flashing and Manu being able to play his 4th game of the season and UW has more depth to withstand a tough rushing attack.
I also think it's a matter of when, not if, Fisch leaves. The biggest question is what Chun will do if he happens to go 2-0 these last two games. I know, I know, this team is strange on the road and @UCLA isn't as easy as it should be for Washington but it's still a chinteresting (if not high) possibility.

Re: Hardcore Husky Podcast: After Purdue Plungering, has Joey tested Doog-positive?
I would probably be excited about the expanded playoff if UW hadn't chocked against Wisconsin, so I'm a hypocrite but I've always liked college football in general, especially when I'm watching beyond UW, for greatness, not who is the most above average.
The Big 10 style size shit is just a BS narrative and an excuse for Judd. A smaller but more skilled OL would be better than just a big one. Wasn't Jimmy's whole thing he wanted massive linemen then Buelow and Ale were so big they couldn't get out of their stances and Montana's 265-pound DTs were shooting gaps?
I hope they can keep Walters for at least one more year. Will be really interesting to see him in a big test against Oregon. They're running the ball in a way no one UW has played has.
I'm excited about the young talent but it's so hard to be because less than two seasons in Judd and it's already a question if he'll leave or not, even when he was just 6-2.
