Re: Oregon Ducks Surprising Betting Odds vs. Washington Released
I'm not sure UW's strength on D is the DL. It was the glaring weakness heading into the year but Elinneus Davis has developed some (RS-Soph), Arizona transfer Tuiagaleilei has been pretty good as a 3-tech, and Bryce Butler and Anterio Thompson (Butler was a JC guy, played a little last year then redshirted while Thompson has bounced around from from JC and D-1) have come on. Fortunately, UW has two massive reserve DTs in case there are 3rd and 4th's and short.
Lane and Durfee are solid as rush guys and Lynch has been a batted down pass machine but the 4th DE is a true frosh (Devin Hyde), unless Isaiah Ward finally comes back (more of a pass-rush specialist).
It certainly isn't a weakness at this point in the season though. If Manu was playing, I'd say that LBs are the strength and if Tacario Davis comes back, secondary could be a strength too since Prysock has been playing better lately and McLaughling is a very good safety. Esteen is an interesting 6th year Husky, at times he whiffs on tackles and then other times, he looks like a veteran safety who can make some plays. Touted frosh Rylon Dillard-Allen has taken some snaps from him and has the most upside.

Re: AP Pole, Week 14
Many of these voters do little to no homework before sending in their vote.
TLDR - It’s no different than 41 years ago when they voted BYU number 1 in 1984. UW lost to SC and Washington as an underdog went to the Orange Bowl and beat up number 2 Oklahoma (can’t remember the pre bowl rankings). All the talk on tv/espn and newspapers were: when mighty OU/Switzer/Boz run roughshod over Warshington the Sooners would be crowned national champions and overtake byu.
Byu in the wac beat nearly nobody including an average Michigan team with 3 losses based off memory in some shit bowl, something like a holiday bowel. I hated byu for a solid 30 years post 84.
My point is the rankings are “garbage in garbage out” and the playoff rankings aren’t much different when you have had 3 to 4 group of 5 teams with mediocre wins in the top 25 much of the season. If BYU beats Texas Tech the Big 12 might actually get 2 teams in the playoff (total bs) and they will each get their ass handed to them in the playoffs unless one get slotted to play a team like Tufuckinglane.
TT was at 5 in the playoff rankings and they will likely stay if there if they beat byu. In no universe do they deserve the top seed after the 4 teams with a bye. I hope we play a 10-2 byu or Texas Tech after one misses the playoff and show an average team like UW throttles a team like BYU on a neutral site hopefully in Cali.
I believe many UW fans don’t believe UW deserves a ranking inside 22 until we see a bunch of pretenders like JMU and their best win is wsu at home by 3 points ahead of UW or SC.
Re: Keep hope alive
How old is this? Morris already went to OSU and Goelish is rumored to be the favorite at Arkansas.

I appreciate that every year it’s the greatest Oregon team of all time until it’s not

He's already 64 years old. This is probably the last stop on the line.

Nothing I've seen indicates that the super clones have impact Rolex' market share. People who can and want to afford a Rolex buy the real thing and Rolex wait-lists for most models are still a thing. Not as bad as two or three years ago, though.
It is true, though, that many of the luxury brands - which is rumored to include Rolex - have been caught taking advantage of the "Swiss made" rule which allows up-to 40% of the components to be imported for final assembly in Switzerland.
