The number will be well over 1,000. But when Bush was in office it was treated by the press as the worst disaster to ever hit the US. It was used to demonize white people as racists because poor areas of Louisiana were hit the hardest. It was played up 24/7 by the media. Who was the fool that got caught with his canoe in ankle deep water saying dead bodies were floating everywhere?
