Re: I'm calling it now
The divisions in the Big 10 should have already happened, but they won't because the powers that be want to game the system and set up schedules the way they want to and in the Big 10 they do not want to have to have Michigan, Ohio State, and Penn State stuck having to take each other out.
It makes no sense we don't play the west coast schools home and home forever and that we don't play the western Big 10 schools like Nebraska, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa as our main schedule to at least lessen some of the travel load.
I don't think it's a coincidence that the three flagship Big 10 programs have take trips to Husky Stadium in the first 3 years.
One funny thing is they probably gave Indiana easy schedules and thought who fucking cares, they'll never win anything and now they've set up a monster.

Re: Nebraska signs Matt Rhule to extension through 2030
I'm thinking Rhule and his agent strong armed them simply with how many jobs are going to be open and they decided it was better to not risk things getting nuked. I'm guessing UW might be in a similar situation right now.
One of the most depressing things I've ever heard was Joey and me were on a catamaran in Hawaii summer 2024 and we heard a lady from Nebraska chatting with people and she said word for word "I guess we're hoping Matt Rhule is gonna bring us back to the promised land."

Re: Hardcore Husky Podcast: Not even Francisco Villar could spoil the Party
DeBoer kept most of Bama there including Ryan Williams who was 17 if you didn't hear
Also kept Ty Simpson there. Germie has been yuge
Sorry @haie everyone talking bout Bama
They will drop another game this year and host a first round playoff game
Our DAWGS headed to Tuscaloosa for the playoffs

Re: Hardcore Husky Podcast: Not even Francisco Villar could spoil the Party
Yeah DeBoer brought 2.5 guys with him and took over one of the best rosters in college football. Very different than what Judd would have to do at Florida or UCLA and what Cignetti had to do at Indiana.
I only mentioned it because some podcasts have been saying Judd could be attractive as a guy who could bring Demond and other talented players with him, but I just don't buy that much. Also, he already has a track record for failing to deliver on that. I'm sure Florida would be stoked when Demond transfers to Ole Miss and Judd shows up with Adam Mohammed, Vines-Bright, and Dylan Robinson.

Re: Ducks
Lanning isn't going anywhere if it's about money (obviously, being at Phil U).
It's literally just about if someone wants him and he actually wants to go for other reasons (such as being in SEC).
I'm not really even convinced he'd be good/great anywhere else. It's really hard to evaluate coaches at Phil U, as that specific situation provides so many unique advantages.

Might have something to do with sky high housing, suppressed wages, and inflation.

Re: Friday night broadcasts on ESPN, Fox are success. Doubleheaders next?
We've really jumped the shark in sports and culture with more is better instead of just more is more. I actually don't mind UW playing road games on Friday, especially since it clears my Saturday day for honeydoos, but going to those games and the logistics for the teams and coaches that play seem like a nightmare, especially in a nationwide conference. Thursday NFL games are a joke too.
