Re: Saturday's Scrimmage - Teq's Thoughts
I’ll wait till Colorado State and UCD before I panic about the offense and team in general. I said on the pod feel like last year in hindsight our issues were already clear against Weber State. The offense was stagnant and had to resort to a gadget play to DeGraaf to get their first score. Feel like the defense couldn’t stop the run and got bailed out because Weber’s QB couldn’t pass or we could have been in trouble. Against Eastern Michigan we got helped by timely turnovers and converting fourth downs.

Missouri is the Show Me state. HTH.

Re: Hardcore Husky Podcast: Canaries in the Coal Mine
Washington won a Sugar Bowl trophy and made it to a national title game. That just walked through the door 2 seasons ago.
Fuck the West Coast, those fags cry about us no matter if we win 0 games or 14.

Re: Hardcore Husky Podcast: Canaries in the Coal Mine
Dude we JUST took the SEC's trophy from their current top program. 2-0 against them in fact
Were you in New Orleans?
San Antonio?
There's Texas fans that would read this and think we're just a straight broken fanbase.

Re: Last album listened to from beginning to end.
Sad how far Camaro interiors have fallen.

Re: Saturday's Scrimmage - Teq's Thoughts
It's important to keep this in mind with the offense …
We're 5 weeks away from playing at the Coug (1st road games are always a tad interesting) and 6 weeks away from playing Ohio St
There's a lot of room and time for the offense to continue to grow and develop … particularly on the OL flushing itself out
I'm sure that there will be some gadgets thrown out early just to get it on film as well as a lot of vanilla stuff
What I'd want to see in our 1st 2 games out of the offense …
- Solid running game - get 200+ yards in those games
- Efficient passing game with someone other than Boston and DeGraaf ascending as a legit target weapon
- Limit turnovers … be sharp
- Keep Demond clean … no big busts from the OL

Re: Doog Thread
Durftoe getting 20 sacks against Cal Polyester and then being out for the year

Re: Can Washington Huskies make the leap to playoff hopefuls? Not so fast. (Mike Vorel)
I think the sacks will go down just by virtue of Demond understanding when to live to fight another day. The protection wasn't great, but he can also help the line out a little bit. A more consistent run game will also help as much as anything else.
Understanding how to compete on the road, which means the defense not getting run over to the tune of 200+ ypg on the road, seems like bigger issue to resolve this year.
Playing from behind on the road with a massively overhauled roster that can't stop the run is tough and leads to mistakes on offense. News flash at 11.
