Re: Top 25 College Football Programs Since 2000
UW's ability to make the Top 25 in this time frame with the pit that are the Gilby and Willingham years is a testament to how good we have been otherwise. Plus, most time slices you can do now with UW look good and is the teens-20-25, whether that's leather helmets to now, this millennium, CFP era.

Re: Weak Ass Dollar
Tax the boar was going to be the solution. Unclear once the boar was out of money.

Re: Scottie Scheffler VS Nelly Korda - Closest to the pin
That doesn't surprise me. What about Nelly though?

Re: OFFICIAL Ina Yoon Rookie Season Thread
After a disastrous Saturday that saw her drop to 48th place, Ina Yoon shot 68 on Sunday to finish in 14th place and take home $179,000.

Re: The REAL Playoffs ... THE STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS
Stanley Cup Preview
Since @PurpleJ likes rats this will be a series for him
Skill wise Edmonton is going to carry the day with McJesus and Draisaitl.
Florida should have the edge on D and in net and we'll see how effective Edmonton's D can be packing it in in front of the net against a team in Florida that has no problem barging their way through unlike the pussies from Dallas (still pissed at that series).
There's an edge to Edmonton that we'll likely find out within the first 2 games whether or not they can stand up to and take the fight directly to Florida.
Typically in Stanley Cup Finals rematches it is not uncommon for the team that lost the 1st Finals to rebound and win the 2nd Finals … the most recent example being Pittsburgh/Detroit in 2008 and 2009.
I like Edmonton in 7 games

The 50s jugs are more stunning in real life.

Re: Trump tariffs ruled illegal
A question arises. How much of a sales tax or gas tax is passed onto the consumer?

Re: The coming wealth flight from Wash State
For people with high incomes, Washington is still a low tax state relative to the other Western states outside of Alaska. I don’t think the capital gains tax moves the needle much. But I agree the estate tax is a significant consideration. And while it’s nice to see the legislation FINALLY raises the exclusion amount, after years of being stuck at about $2 million, and restores an annual inflation adjustment, these rates may well encourage the most wealthy retirees to leave.

Re: Trump tariffs ruled illegal
Bob C is trying to pull an argument from authority, which tries to explain away huge tariffs, which are taxes, oh, I mean fees, with economic buzzwords and condescension.
