There was some info about DeBoer using the indoor practice facility whenever it rained. I think he wanted out of Washington and wanted to go some place with better weather. And then Bama called.
I actually thought the O line was pretty good yesterday and has shown nice improvement. In fact every position group played well yesterday including the QB. The problem is the personal foul penalties. We probably score 17 more points without them and that doesn’t even include going full retard on the blocked field goal.
The days of building for the future are done. We'll have another 40% roster turnover off season and away we go.
College football sucks now, is what it is.
Coug and Buttgers totally winnable gaymes. The amount of self inflicted mistakes at critical junctures is pathetic. FYFMFE
46 new players on the roster and a new coaching staff is a lot of change.
Someone said it that the team actually has talent. The o-line generally played great. It's Fisch that's the problem.
So, the dilemma is, Fischer put together a roster that has talent and can win games. He is recruiting well.
At the same time, the team isn't disciplined and is the most un-clutch team I've ever seen.
Does the team need to gel and clean some things up? Will they win 10 games in year 2, or year 3?
Or, is Fisch cooked and this is what we will get - Sark 2.0
I don't even know. Weird to watch.
For some reason, I’m not even mad about last night.
Fisch was hired in the middle of January. Most coaches are hired by mid December so he started a month behind schedule.
There are still communication issues which I think are caused by the late hire.
The penalties like the one on Center and then the one Ass Party are fucking dumb player penalties.
The penalty on Davis is a coaching issue.
The dumbass who ran on the field? That was the worst of the penalties because it led directly to a Rutgers TD. If there’s a situation when you’d rather not block a FG, that was it.
Some of the play calling and clock management has me scratching my head. 1st and goal from the 7 and he calls run-run-pass-pass and I don’t think either pass was a play action call. 1st and 2nd downs were primed for play action after Coleman gashed them.
4th and 5 down 11 and attempts a FG when Gross already missed 1 and he’s at the far end of his range? On the 3rd down play, Jackson left a couple yards on the field but trying to juke a guy instead of just diving forward. I think had he gotten those extra 2 yards, Fisch goes for it. Regardless, it was a pussy move to go for the FG.
Oh well. We’re stuck with him for a couple seasons.
i really want him to fail, but i dont think he will. he wont be as successful as saban but that's not saying much.
im hearing the chicago bears have interest in him getting up to the midway and working his qb magic with williams.
just what im hearin.
Unless your kink is getting dominated I’m not sure why you would willingly show up next weekend.
