Re: Lol loser program
I know what you’re saying but Fisch isn’t Harbaugh. Fisch isn’t DeBoer. Fisch at the moment feels like one of the many guys who cycled through the pac-10/12 who were fine but not good enough to ever reach the top and the hopes of the program for the next 2.5 seasons are pinned on a 5’9 QB fresh off throwing unforced ints LBs who look and have names like they’re from Sedro-Woolley

Re: How did we?
I know losing the left side of the line was poison but how bad the running game is makes zero sense and Coleman hasn’t broken a tackle or made anyone miss since UCDavis and is constantly running to the sidelines. Guessing he’s hurt too.

Laying Down the L A Law
As predicted the Washington Huskies launched the Heisman campaign of Blair Underwood yesterday under the autumn skies of Ann Arbor. Underwood may be a great QB someday. It's only been 7 games. But even yesterday he sucked. Washington just insisted on letting him gain confidence at every step of the way.
USC jumped Michigan and the Wolves folded the tents. Washington had that opportunity but the disjointed, and some would say retarded. offensive game plan stalled repeatedly on the Michigan side of the field. A common problem for two years running unless playing garbage teams.
Of course Michigan has better talent than Maryland and Rutgers but this year they don't have elite talent where they need it. They are a big team that will grind you to dust if you let them and our DAWGS let them. Their coach will be fired at the end of the season.
The Desert* remains death valley for top ten teams as ASU knocked off unbeaten Texas Tech. BYU beat Utah in a battle of teams we would all like to forget about. Stanford welcomed Florida State to Saturday Night with friends at Palo Alto in front of a couple hundred guests. Stanford won of course.
Alabama whipped Tennessee for 4 straight over ranked opponents for the struggling to recruit DeBoer. Many experts are now saying that the Tide got a bargain when they took DeBoer from Washington. Vandy beat LSU and Brian Kelley. And Brian Kelly lost to Vandy. Ed Ogeron was a better coach down on the Bayou. Georgia fell behind early but came back late to knock off Ole Miss and Lil Lane. It was the slaughter of the unbeatens this weekend.
Oregon surprised heavily favored Rutgers in a nail biter at Soprano Stadium. Iowa knocked off Penn State as Kirk Ferentz is now rumored to be the front runner for the PSU job.
Next up is the Illinois Fighting Illini in a Rose Bowl rematch. Dick Butkus isn't walking through that door. Because he died.

Re: How did we?
Will Rogers is 1-0 against Michigan while Penix & Demond are 0-2.
Re: How did we?
I'm being told it's because we are "making progress" in year 2 under Jedd.
I'm personally, not seeing it.
Lest we forget, we beat Michigan last year with Will Rogers at QB.
What exactly is the "progress" this year that we are seeing?

Re: He probably goes back to Alabama
I assumed the subpar coaching was a given especially on the offensive side. The qb coach also sucks including the play calling by Jeb obviously. Fisch is trying to juggle 3 positions and failing miserably. Head Coach, play caller and lead qb coach and we all know he is micro managing the OC.
#2 also makes bad decisions and he resorts hero ball. Let’s not forget he tossed a gimme int the first drive if the db has hands. That ball had pick 6 written all over it. He is typically running for his life and has no internal clock in his head and it’s a near miracle when he gets the ball out of his hands. How often is he going to his 2nd and 3rd option. Coaching is the number one problem. Demond has arm talent clearly, from the neck up he’s average at best.
Re: Predict final w/L record post Oregon. Be serious and no malarkey
Hope I’m wrong, we won’t beat @ucla and beating the ducks at home seems like pipe dream 50/50 at best on a good day.
Re: Predict final w/L record post Oregon. Be serious and no malarkey
I want to say 8-4 but I voted 7-5.
Between injuries now, and just pure inconsistency for weeks in a row, I don't trust UW to beat anyone on par or better than them and definitely don't trust them on the road.
It took a miraculous 4th Q vs Maryland to not STILL be winless on the road in BIG play.
And we've now seen that Maryland just "does" the 4th Q collapse (3 weeks in a row for them), so I'm not sure how much of that comeback was us vs them letting it happen via poor management of the situation and final 18 mins of the game. (obviously some of both, but I think folks take my point)
