Gabriel certainly wasn't Mariota or Nix, but I think actually much more helped them get to where they got rather than held them back. He went three whole rounds ahead of the QB who won it all as a 26 year old midget. He was good, especially for college, and the 2024 season. Never really thought of it, but if Oklahoma doesn't cut Gabriel loose like idiots, does Shough transfer back to Eugene?
Also, the whole Lanning is a genius narrative while being a defensive coach whose D hasn't ever shown a pulse at all against any decent offense ever is popcorn material. Needs more Tim.
