Re: Florida….shit!
It's hard to believe that Jedd wanted that job with the play calling performance.
If Florida was even retarded enough in the first place to consider him, that should have died with the opening 3 and out.
The offense has the same repulsion toward getting in a rhythm and looks shaky and unsure play to play just like Donovan's NFL colon tumor parade.

Re: Husky Jacks open thread [2025]
Mohammed needed to play. He played and got confidence and now we all see that he’s a tough runner with speed.
Earlier in the year I thought he looked pretty good when catching and running after check downs and screens but was hesitant with his carries.

Projecting 2026 Two Deeps
It's impossible to predict which 2026 signees will be able to compete for a starting spot and even in the two deeps so I'm not including any of them. Since this staff isn't afraid to play true frosh, we'll undoubtedly see a few guys burn their redshirts.
Other assumptions:
- I'm assuming Boston heads to the NFL as a 2nd or 3rd round pick. If he gets a 4th round grade and UW makes a strong offer, he could come back. I'm also assuming they have enough confidence in the WRs already on the roster so that they don't target a transfer WR.
- I'm assuming the staff decides to get a SR LT transfer (#2 priority) to hold down the spot for a year or to compete with the young LTs but they could decide to move Mills or Azzopardi to LT (not sure either have the feet to deal with elite pass-rushers).
- I'm also assuming that the staff will be able to get Anterior Thompson one last year, Armon Parker will medically retire, and Jayvon Parker will be fully healthy for 2026 (and may play in the bowl game)
- I'm assuming that that they will target a very good DE in the portal and that will be the #1 transfer priority
- I'm assuming they get a transfer CB to compete for a spot opposite Dylan Robinson in case the young guys aren't up to starting.

Re: Fisch
I think Jedd would be fine if he wasn’t calling plays. He checks the other boxes, recruits, players like him, seems to be good at raising money, handles the media well, team plays hard, seems to make decent assistant hires. He just loves calling plays for no reason.

Re: Fisch
I'd have tarmac'd him after Wisconsin.
Yesterday was irrelevant. Wiscy was the real tell. Road, home, who cares? That Wisconsin team, grease or no grease, was playing without a legit D1 QB. Think back to that bowl game Oregon lost with a 31 pt. lead when Adams went down. That's what happens when you play D1 football with a D2 QB. Should have been an easy win for Washington.
Re: Demond
I think Demond is a very talented QB that for the most part was accurate this season. I think the “be a pro” bullshit hurts him a little bit. Instead of getting him ready for the NFL, let’s win games.
He’s not the first dual threat QB to struggle initially as a pocket passer. He has to get better at it, and/or have an offense more suited to his strengths.
The OL was much improved and takes too much flak here. QB’s have to make quick reads and make big throws under pressure.
Fisch said after the game they have to coach better. Demond said he takes 100% of the blame for the offense’s performance in the big games. Right now, it’s just words but they are saying the right things.
We are in a better position at QB than most. Big schools would want Demond if he was available.

Re: Kudos to Sark -- seriously
Tebow was a different beast. If you switched Tebow and Locker, UW wins a lot more games and the whole team would have gotten better because Tebow was that kind of leader.

Re: Husky Jacks open thread [2025]
Washington didn’t play because he was hurt btw. He was listed on the injury report.

Re: Fuck Jedd
My favorite part of the thread is Joey casually accusing Williams of point shaving and no one disputes it
