Re: When did you get hooked on crootin’?
Earliest was the string of future NFL quarterbacks most from in state. Guys like Chandler and Conklin
Then 88 and 89 as the national championship team was built
Recruiting only matters if you do something with them

Re: I Looked Into Why Restaurant Quality Is Declining. What I Found Is SHOCKING
No wife, no kids and I eat out about 95% of the time (though half the time company is paying)
Everything is $20/pop it's insane.
The convenience factor and grocery price increases have made it hard to switch out of the habit.
I pretty much have wasted veggies every time I buy, meal prepping is a bitch.

Re: Locked on Huskies: UW's crushing loss to Oregon
I get the sportsmanship angle, but you can shake hands after the game. I lost count at how many times UW players helped a duck get off his ass.
Fuck that shit.

Re: The Fisching Report Recruiting Thread Sponsored by The Fisch Bowl
UW football becoming a project to be all about Fisch and his quest to get out of here is not something that interests me in the least. Even with "great recruiting" the cry of the gameday loser
Fire his ass today and let's be done with the fake drama
He isn't the answer. He won't be in two years when you all hope he leaves so what in the actual fuck are we doing here?

A reasonable fan can look at this year’s schedule, though, and conclude that it turned out to be baby soft.
More than two losses is a disappointment. Even if three or four losses looked acceptable at the beginning of the year.

Re: What Husky fans have to say about the UW vs. Oregon rivalry game
They key, here, is alumnus status. With T Boone Pickens, he was alumnus of Okie State. Stephen Ross, alumnus of Michigan. There are a few others, and Mark Cuban appears poised to join them since Indiana football was invented last year, but the key thing is alumni connections. Knight attended and ran track at Oregon.
The problem we? have is that the big-big money guys in Seattle didn't attend UW and don't otherwise give a shit. Gates attended Harvard and gives no shits about sports. Ballmer attended Harvard and likes pro basketball. Allen attended Cuog but limited most if not all his donations to pet project stuff like Frat house overhauls and some academics donations. Allen's dad was a librarian at UW and so he built a library and a comp sci building and probably some other stuff but problem with Allen was that he wasn't a college sports guy and preferred the professional ranks. Otherwise, he could have been it. Schultz went to Northern Michigan and is not from here and gives no fucks. Bezos attended Princeton, isn't from here and gives no fucks.
It's just an accident of history. If Nike were a Seattle company and shoved money up the UW program's ass it'd be fine with me but I get the annoyance.
Re: 13 million a year for Lane
Danny Boy has smartened up and realized that in the SEC one bad year followed by a couple losses the next year and you’re gone.
He has everything he needs to win at Oregon with a lot less hectic atmosphere. He would be a better hire than Kiffin.
