2000 Miami game comes to mind. Ken Dorothy (the old dawgman smartasses liked to call him that; IWTLTD) was making is first start and the noise got to him. When Rich Alexis made his run I thought the place was going to collapse, and let's remember there is precedent for that at Husky Stadium.
No question about that one.
I've been to some others, but Husky Stadium gets fucking loud.
Can also confirm Texas is generic … nothing special going on there.
I'd add that the old Orange Bowl in a night game against a big-name opponent was a tuff place for teams to play. There was something about being there under the lights. Sufficiently large to fit like 20 Big Houses in it (old HCH joke for the newcomers). Being located in the hood and attracting the locals was special. Our? pussy former AD got her sensibilities offended by the Miami fan base, which wasn't to her liking, and she said she'd never go back. I would have liked to have been there to hear the shit people must have been saying to her. Sorry Babs. Let's just say the old Orange Bowl wasn't for the wine and cheese crowd.
I think LSU is perhaps on its own level for raucous and intimidating environment down in hillbilly hell.
That's fine and reasonable. Although once you open up "America First" to oil prices, you are signing up for a bit more activity in the ME than the gals seem to want. IDGAF myself. I grew up with the US involved in shit and was taught from a young age that the isolationists were pussies.
I'm also not sure what a "forever war" means, and I'm not sure anyone else is either. I think it's just a thing to say when the country is involved in something a person doesn't care about. Israel is our staunchest and by far most capable and culturally aligned ally in the ME, where we have interests (by your own admission). I care about keeping them in business. It's good for business.
isn’t that fag Takei a dawg, never liked that show.
Both funded by billions of tax dollars via Obunghole and Slow Joe…
Oh well now that changes everything. If only they could get their basketball attendance on par with coug in a conference where nothing matters except for football revenue.
I guess everyone decided to gloss over that "In Fall 2023, the total student enrollment on the Pullman campus was around 16,449" compared to "Texas State University's student body consists of over 40,000 students, with a majority being undergraduate students".
Texas State, especially when you consider their location in a recruiting state, is more justified than a bunch of the current teams that were let in without question. They aren't sitting around apathetic and butthurt about UT as a bonus.
I was on a business flight to Frankfurt earlier this year and the Liverpool FC U19 team was on it going to play some cup match. I sat next to the team doctor (nervous flyer - which is a strange vocation to choose…) and he said a couple guys are making 20,000 Pounds/Week. The looked like just boys, it was insane.
We did fine because there were already as many as 50 million illegals in country. Time to rid us of them all!
Who is going to traffic the kids if we deport human traffickers?
