from two years ago. It’s not hard to admit that the cases aren’t increasing - it’s the people diagnosed with it that’s increasing. Including adults who were not diagnosed as kids because, again, we didn’t know shit about it until more recently.

Nobody knew shit about it even as close as 30-40 years ago. Before that they were just considered the “weird” or “antisocial” or nonverbal kids. Often they were the kids who were geniuses in many subjects, but struggled with social anxiety.

autism has always been there. The amount of research and findings on it has skyrocketed and that’s why diagnoses have increased. It has nothing to do with vaccines or whatever you want to blame it on. This is what medical research does. We know 1000x more about it now than we did in a matter of a few decades, so naturally, people figured out that this explained a lot of the issues they were having.
