Populism: The lazy philosophy of losers who internalize a cynical belief that our institutions, laws, and leadership will inevitably favor some cohort of "elites" who care only about themselves, and who are, paradoxically, easily led by the nose by a cadre of entirely self-interested characters to destroy the very institutions that offer any conceivable possibility that this sad group of failures might rise, however little, from their present station in life.
