Season 1 is doing just enough to get invited to the dance, keep players healthy, build depth, focus on being the best in December. Season 2 starts after the conference champ game and is all gas no brakes. New schematic wrinkles, unleashing younger players who develop during the season, etc. Then survive and advance in the tournament.

Oregon, OSU and PSU had their 3 regular season games all be 1 score, all with the losing team having a chance to win/tie in the end. Did Oregon bring anything new on offense yesterday? It felt like they were trying to play the same consistent, almost safe, play which won all the regular season games. OSU obviously has unleashed something and PSU's running game has taken massive steps forward in the past 3 games.
