Beta blockers are great. If you block the beta, all that's left is alpha, and that's why I always keep a steady supply. It just works. All my girlfriends have commented on the change. I showed a picture of them in another thread, my girlfriends.

Re: Trump won!
It's clear how many Trump voters voted out of spite, vengeance, the R, and the D, and are now going "Now I get why this ehhhh might ehhhh not be so good." and then blaming Dems to make themselves feel better about their decision. This shit is everywhere. This is exactly how Dems fucked up and more importantly why the two party system is fucked beyond belief rn.
Imagine if this was a Republican vs New No-Nonsense Party election, everything else being exactly the same, with Kamala announcing the new party name when she got the bid. A change from the old stale Democratic party to a better, sensible alternative. A ray of vision. A No-Nonsense vision.
It's all marketing. The New No-Nonsense Party would have cleaned up if I was in charge.

@Swaye (fuck Vanilla)
Second-most still doesn't mean a ton when there's a huge gap between her and Bernie. He's on a different spectrum. And again, there are a lot of points on his platform that go too far for me. But I respect the guy because he doesn't read off of a script. You all admire Trump for the same reason. And what he said about the Dems themselves is spot on. You can point to him supporting them when he lost his bid and call him a pussy, but if you understand politics at all, you know why he did: because for him, it's better than the alternative. Same reasons all your favorite Trump cronies like DeSantis and especially Graham and Vance ripped the shit out of him, but then fell in line. They know what the game is.
Still waiting for any proof that Kamala was planning on implementing anything close to communism if she had gotten elected. This bored is more hung up on using it as a catchphrase than actually understanding what that would require and how much it would be rejected at first attempt. Had she gotten elected it wouldn't have been communism, it would've been 4 more years of Biden. That's a direct quote. I knew when she said that that she would lose because people didn't want that.
The vast majority don't want communism either, it's just easy to focus on the fringe that does because they kick and scream, again, without knowing what that actually entails, just like a ton of you dweebs here do. The people just want a government that gives a shit and addresses basic needs. My biggest causes are fixing the absolute shit cost of living (which neither side has done anything about), lowering cost of college and improving infrastructure/technocracy. Overhauling and streamlining the immigration process to make the legal process more accessible and better-funded is another. None of those are extreme. If some of you jumped off of the tinfoil shit for once, stopped vomiting out every conspiracy you hear from Joe Blow Me and landed back in reality, you'd see that.
And just FYI, Trump isn't going to fix any of that shit either. You'll find out soon enough, or you'll just more likely make excuses for him, and claim next year will be special and he just needs more tim to get his guys in there.

Re: When the left turns on it's own
He's 100% right. Same with Bernie, what he said was spot on. Dems ignored the working class and played identity politics over economy and infrastructure, which moderate voters were far more concerned over. They alienated Latinos which was evident in the vote, and promised nothing but the status quo which no one wanted. I saw this coming for a while. I knew what the result was going to be. Dems should've tossed Biden's corpse out 2 years ago and ran a primary. My guy was Shapiro, always was. He got the left and right in Pennsylvania to get along. With a proper primary and 2 years to work with, he would've given Trump a far better fight.
This article pretty much sums up what I believe.

Re: Can we offer this Ukranian solider a scholarship?
I've admitted I was wrong and that was a blunder. I have no problem admitting when I'm wrong. Like we say, things change.

Re: This election makes 2020 look even worse.
The narrative is already collapsing. Going down with the ship, I see.

Re: This election makes 2020 look even worse.
If there is a negative spread, it will be miniscule. Turnout will be slightly lower than in 2020.
Intelligent adults accepted the vote in 2020 and in 2024. Quite the contrast between the two sides. You don't need to fret about a mob storming the Capitol this time.
