I remember being at place a few years ago and seeing a group of middle aged dudes wearing Iowa gear during the Women's NCAA tournament going on and thinking "Jesus Christ, what a lame as fuck conference".

One of my issues with the portal is a lot of these guys transfer and do lateral moves when they would eventually just play where they were and probably develop better. I know that part of it is coaches probably nudging or pushing guys out too but it feels like a lot of the portal is musical chairs.
