Now I know people keep inviting out to eat.

Pete’s last two classes had a top 10 average in rating per recruit. They were too small to make top ten but the quality of the 18-20 kids they closed was undeniably high end recruiting. Fishdicks classes look more like Pete’s first few. Some studs at top and a lot of mid rated, well offered, high upside players. You can win enough to make playoffs with classes like that if you can develop. IMHO You need the bigger names if you actually want to win some playoff games though.
Dems activated their weather machine again!!!
My wife asked me what I wanted to do for Father’s Day and she kinda rolled her eyes when I told her I wanted to watch the US Open and smoke a brisket.
Little known secret: The public can just walk in to the clubhouse/restaurant and drink and dine. Usually not very busy.
Spectacular Sunday brunch and happy hour.
Of the guys who have visited or are scheduled to visit who either aren't committed somewhere else or haven't reaffirmed their commitment to the other school here who seems still on the board, ordered in size of fisch. Would love to know who DSD thinks we get:
5* DE Tristian Givens - Columbus, GA - Probably A&M or Tennessee
5* CB Brandon Arrington - Spring Valley, CA - Probably Oregon, USC, A&M, or Bama
4* CB Davon Benjamin - Westlake Village, CA - Probably Oregon, Texas or Miami
4* S Salesi Moa - Ogden, UT - Probably Michigan, Utah or Tennessee
4* DE Landon Barnes - Duncanville, TX - Probably Ohio State or Georgia
4* WR Vance Spafford - Mission Viejo, CA - Probably Miami or Georgia but think we have a decent shot
4* WR Mason James - Norman, OK - think he commits tomorrow
4* RB Brian Bonner - Valencia, CA - Seemed like us for a while now seems like UCLA
4* DE Samu Moala - Lawndale, CA - Probably A&M or UCLA
4* WR Daniel Odom - Bellflower, CA - Committed to Oklahoma, weird recruitment who knows
4* WR Madden Williams - Bellflower, CA - Committed to A&M, weird same as Odom
4* DE David Schwerzel - Seattle O'Dea - Seems like we have a great shot but so does UCLA, Stanford, and maybe Notre Dame
4* CB Jeron Jones - Mission Viejo, CA - Probably commits soon
4* DT T.I. Umu-Cais - Englewood, CO - Seems like a battle with Stanford, UCLA, and North Carolina
3* DE Fameitau Siale - Seattle O'Dea - Feels like a commit soon though could go to Michigan State
3* T Aaron Thomas - Phoenix, AZ - Seemed like he was a possible commit, visited ages ago and seems to have disappeared. Probably Ohio State or A&M now.
3* TE Landen Miree - Cincinnati, OH - Odd recruit from Cincy seemed like might be a silent commit at one point now seems like we only take 2* TEs from Oregon.
3* LB Wassie Lugolobi - Sammamish Eastside Catholic - Former commit, then committed to Standeford now is visiting and seems 50/50
3* LB Ezaya Tokio - Oceanside, CA - Long, skinny LB seems like we have a great shot or UCLA
3* TE Kai Wesley - Orem, UT - 6'7 TE in our category of guy who should have already committed but probably met PooPoo
3* G Pulelei'ite Primus - Midland, TX - We're struggling with IOL this year and the only guy really left on the board but have barely heard anything about him
I still maintain that this shit doesn't matter nearly as much since Petersen's last classes barely cleared this, but it's undeniable how big the upgrade is in recruiting/selling the school and the coaches are still talking a big game of development that should show signs this year.
