I like the direction SOME of our position coaches are going and the success they’ve seen. DL & OL this year, DB’s and WR’s last year but to say WOKG’s are going to get us to the next step is BS. I promise that Wokg’s With a star ranking of 88-90 is not going to get us any higher than where we’re currently at. Their is something to be said for try hards, coachable, high character, intelligent athletes BUT every one of the teams ranked higher than us also out recruit us based on stars. Joe Tryon, Jaxson Kirkland, Victor Curne, Matteo Mele, Dominique Hampton, Mosiah Nasili-Liu, Jackson Sirmon, Devin Culp, Troy Fautanu, Sama Paama, Taj Davis, and Corey Luciano. All rated "3-star" guys who clearly have NFL talent. Give me more guys like that all day long. Name one player committed to Oregon that UW wanted. There isn't a single one who had a committable offer from UW. Oregon can have Keyon Ware-Hudson. I prefer Sama Paama. They can have Mycah Pittman. I prefer Taj Davis. They can have Jonah Tauanu'u. And then I told him not to be a retard?Yeah, so, same thing applies here. Yes, all the 3 stars you listed are incredible and I love that they’re committed and I’m going to root so hard for them. There’s a lot of doom and gloom around here considering HH never thought Tuitele would come to UW, or we? would get serious consideration from McCoy or To’oto’o, so take a minute and remember that we? signed the best DT in Cali last year, have a commitment from 3/4 of the best DT this year (again one being the best in Cali, and one the best player in Hawaii,) we? have the most outrageous DB room in the country, the OL recruiting took off, and we? are still in play on some of the top players in the west who are all planning on committing later in the season. We? will never sign a buck, but in all seriousness if we? land a surprise like Latu or To’oto’on it wouldn’t even be that much of a shock considering how strong the class is, and how we? finished last years recruiting cycle. At this point in time, I’m more concerned with the product on the field, because that will sell the last few holdouts better than being better salesman than Oregon.
