He had more ‘good’ moments against Auburn than USC. Quite easily.

Jesus two NFL corners and he plays them soft, primarily first half, with a free safety 25 yards deep playing prevent defense. TLDR: If you throw out the final possession of each half when the lock determine play calling moreso than the OC, you get 11 runs out of 27 calls versus Auburn (40.7%), and 8 runs out of 31 calls versus Bama (25.8%).

Bush was significantly more committed to balance than Smith was. Now you can argue that was because Auburn had a worse defense, but their front 7 was much closer to Bama's caliber than their secondary was.
