"The study estimated that doubling all federal individual and corporate income taxes would not fully cover the additional costs."
Maybe they could just take all our money? Oh I forgot that's what communists do. -

Except for the amount people save in not paying insurance companies anymore. Are you really that dense to only look at one side of the equation?Sledog said:"The study estimated that doubling all federal individual and corporate income taxes would not fully cover the additional costs."

Since doubling taxes won't work maybe triple? Is that more than your health insurance costs? Axing for a friend.2001400ex said:

If your household makes $150k a year, your federal taxes would go up almost $2,100/month if doubled. That's already more than most common married couple insurance plans. Imagine if they needed more...2001400ex said:

It's cheaper. People don't die waiting for operations. Don't believe the right libertarian think tank scare tactic b.s. The ones profiting from all this are pulling out all the stops to distort all the facts.
WHO ranks us like 40th in healthcare or something. It's pathetic. -
Medicare for all would save 2 trillion over 10 years in national health expenditures which is different than federal govt health expenditures. We would pay higher taxes and increase govt spending and then save the money that goes to the inefficient private profit centers that make our health costs per person the highest in the world.
So we could save money and insure 30 million more people or continue lavishing the private insurance middlemen and big pharma.

It doesn't really matter how expensive it is if it's less expensive than the overall now.
