Also the meltdown on the ND 247 site is turning nuclear.
Lake is a better bagman than their coaches, Pete is an average coach who hasn't done anything, Asa will gain 30 pounds move to LB before the Fall (and of course regret his decision), ND has not been getting beat H2H by Lake on these kids, just weird stuff has gotten in the way.
Definitely something fishy going on in Seattle.

The saga continues over at the ND boreds.
Now, the ND staff (specifically Loy) are stating that Spam Chancellor will never play a down at safety for UW. The fans agree that he's obviously going to add too much weight during his senior year and outgrow safety.
He's also going to realize that UW was lying to him about wanting him as a safety just to get him to commit, but they have every intention of moving him to linebacker as soon as he signs.
These wise poasters still have faith that Asa will soon realize that he's been lied to and that he'll realize he'll never make the NFL as a safety, but rather linebacker is how he'll get there. As soon as he realizes all of this, he'll call Coach Kelly and flip so he can play linebacker under the best linebacker's coach in the country.

Jesus. Fucking ridiculous how some people's perception of gaining weight/muscle works, especially at that age and level of intensity they work out. They make it seem like you bench press a couple times and eat a magic bean and boom 25 lbs overnight. Even if they are on the juice (which people still don't conceptually understand how steroids work) this shit takes time. The hardest part is the volume of food some have to eat to gain that mass, especially if they are eating relatively clean.
