NFL Power Rankings?

What's everyone's top 10
1. Seattle (good offense, great defense, great special teams. Complete team. Will get HFA where they're almost unbeatable)
2. NE this is not a knee-jerk. I don't trust peyton in january, who else is gonna beat them if not Den? Plus it seems brady and his receivers are getting better every week
3. NO they should get to the NFC Championship game at least. But can they go to seattle and win?
4. DEN: Same old peyton
5. CAR: Don't fully trust Cam Newton, don't like their running game. But that defense is really good.
The fucking dreckfest begins here
6. KC: A lot depends on the status of houston and hali. If they don't get HF can they really win 3 road games with Alex Smith?
7. GB: Will probably get exposed for no defense in the playoffs again, but Aaron Rodgers is coming back.
8. IND: Most fucking bipolar team in the league.
9. Cin: This team is really good. But who in their right mind trusts Marvin Lewis and Andy Dalton?
10. AZ: Been going up against a bunch of teams who can't rush the passer. Their O-line sucks. Arians is a genius though

I would have started the dreckfest after #2 New Orleans.

I can't decide if IND is the Good Bad Team or the Bad Good Team of the league.

Also, no NFC Norris team should be in the top 10.
  • Colts are the bad good team while the 49ers are the good bad team for now.

I think the Packers are a little too high given they are 0-3-1 in the last four games. I know no Rodgers but I don't know when he's coming back and how well he'll even be.

I think in the playoffs I fear the Panthers more than the Saints. Panthers the last two years gave Seattle a dog fight battle. Granted that was in Carolina but still their DL is legit. I fear good defenses more than flashy dome offenses like the Saints.

I think they are the good bad team. Good teams don't get beaten by 30 twice. One of the at home. Also I think they get a lot of referee help and luck (no pun intended)

What you said for Indianapolis was true until they lost Reggie Wayne. They are terrible now.

In the top 10 I would probably find a spot for San Diego. They lack talent but have been playing well most of the time. Rivers is back to his old self.
San Francisco is still a good team. Detroit is a scary team held back by coaching (for the most part). These two teams are better than Cincy for sure (i really dont trust Dalton) and maybe Arizona and Green Bay without Rodgers.

Get the Pack out of the top ten. If they get back on track when Rogers is healthy, we'll see.

yep. That was not my best ranking. Even when Rodgers comes back they can't play defense

I still stand by calling everything after the Saints a #fuckingdreckfest.
  • The 49ers are the UW of the NFL. They haven't lost to a bad team but they also haven't defeated a good team either.

    Weird both are 8-4 also.

They also had the requisite "refs cost us the game" bitchfest against NO a la the Huskies against Stanford.

DEN is way too high. They are 1-1 against the only two good teams they have played this year.

Only a Doog would prefer championships decided by human poles and computers over actual football game results.

There both crapshoots. A one game fluke where a 9-7 team wins after not even deserving a play off spot

The old new years day was better than any of this shit
  • Hawks
    Saints

    Broncos/Pats

    everyone else
  • I really think Hawks-Saints rematch is going to be a close game. Payton>>>Carroll. Hawks arent going to stay undefeated at Century Link forever (i dont call it the Clink, because I'm not a faggot (75k)). I'd really would expect a Hawks win, but its not going to be anything like the Monday Night game.

NE might be too high without Gronk. The only worse thing that could have happened to them was losing Brady. OTOH, absolutely great day for Denver. There may not be a team in the AFC that can beat them at Mile High in the playoffs even with cold weather Peyton.

Carolina wins the rematch with NO.

Can't really complain about any of this though. I agree Seattle should stay at number one. This game played out pretty much exactly how I expected.

It won't be a blowout again but I don't see a dome team winning outdoors in that stadium in the playoffs.

For as good as Payton is he does have two bad road playoff losses to teams everyone was picking the Saints to win(Seahawks in 2010 and 49ers in 2011).

Their defense is still pretenders and a one dimensional offense against the Seahawks defense can be shut down easily.

No Wright until the Super Bowl is huge since he was key in shutting down Graham.

I still think the Seahawks win that rematch rather easily say 34-10?

    Zing?

Was it Flacco's 4.9 yards per pass or his three picks against the Minnesota dreckfest that convinced you they could do it again? Ray Rice looks like Sidney Rice. They've won one game on the road all year.

Baltimore is nowhere near as good as last year.

Tough to bet against Belicheck and Brady even without Gronk at this poont.

Would love to see Cincy pull it off somehow, Seattle would destroy Dalton.
