Equal administration of the law is the bedrock of our system and the lack of it is the number one cause for injustice in America
To have the same folks that scoffed at the law for 8 years set up this charade is beyond the pale -

Is the basis for being upset about this client/attorney privilege or something? I'm not seeing the attack on the republic here.
Not saying it isn't an attack on the republic.

Finally? You think this signals the end of the trump legacy? We only have Ryan’s tax plan and McConnell’s Supreme Court nominee. Remember how we were going to burn it all down? Immigration reform? At least that's what Fox News and Russian Trolls told me. For some reason, they seem to be the only people who know the truth! -
Trump seems upset.

That's actually a fair question. I'm not privy to the details of what Jack or Jill are learning in this investigation, and of course nobody with nothing better to do than poast here is either. So with that in mind I'm entirely agnostic about the whole thing, as I was with Hillary, who, again, is not my first choice of people with whom I'd like to hang out.Gwad said:

All I know is that after a bazillion years of investigation and interrogating and $$ spent, Gowdy didn't deliver me a corpse. She was stupid af with the server business ... that's all I know. Call her negligent. Grossly negligent. If it was criminal negligence, then I guess she should be in jail. She's not. Benghazi was a circus and is the battle cry of the stupid. She may not be my first choice to deal with the next shit sandwich in the Middle East, but jail time would've been ridiculous for that one.
Here, same thing. I have no clue what they guy is looking for really, or what he's found. If a bunch of R's gave the ok to hit T's lawyer's office unannounced out of concern he would destroy evidence, I'll reserve judgment until I hear chirping, at which point I'll question the integrity of everyone involved. At some point, this (Mueller) is like the Trey Gowdy show: do something, or move on. It's been long enough.
But @Gawd's question is a fair one: are Trump's HCH groupies upset that his attorney's office was raided? Or upset that Hillary's wasn't? Is it the raiding that isn't ok with you? Or the lack of it last time around?
I honestly don't have a dog in this fight. I don't have these days the time it takes to track this thing with any degree of rigor. Fuck, HCH is arguably my primary news source, so it's up to you degenerates. Don't let me down. -

Rand Paul has some fans here
EVERYONE with a brain knows Trump dipped his wick in some strange. EVERYONE with a brain knows he lies a little more than the average bear. EVERYONE with a brain knows he's a little duplicitous.
But come on. This is retarded. This has little or nothing to do with running the government, and flying in a law firm's office to raid evidence of this shit is beyond a waste of time and resources, and for any civil libertarian, a gross overreach of government power.
If they were doing it in the name of preventing a crime or national security, that's one thing. Not this.
Sorry. Using power over a subordinate in office is grounds for harsh criticism of judgement and moral turpitude. Cheating on Melania with skank is not.
I still think he's a dangerous Prez, in that he also flouts the rule of law and kinda just does what he wants to do, and in that he fans the flame of a dirty fringe underbelly in this country that we are all better off leaving alone. But this latest move, and continued focus on Stormy, is just bone dead stupid. -

"I am unhappy to have my personal residence and office raided. But I will tell you that members of the FBI that conducted the search and seizure were all extremely professional, courteous and respectful. And I thanked them at the conclusion," Cohen said in a phone conversation on Tuesday with CNN.
Asked if he was worried, Cohen said; "I would be lying to you if I told that I am not. Do I need this in my life? No. Do I want to be involved in this? No."
