Peterson would be the first hire in the past decade that I wouldn't be outraged about. He won't reach first hire that I liked since Neuheisel but I wouldn't hate him.

Bruce Feldman on Brock & Danny said Peterson after last year was finally getting the urge to consider moving on.
The loss of Sark only hurts you in one way and thats recruiting in Cali. If they can keep Tosh then that mitigates that and still gives us a strong presence in Cali.
If we are able to keep keep the D staff intact & hire a rising star OC type then its a good situation. Maybe as good as an A-. Mora is definitely an A+. In this situation losing Mora hurts the most because UCLA, a competitor still has him. -

I don't really see Cali recruiting being hurt that badly. So many kids come out of Cali we would still be fine. Plus if we start winning games our Cali recruiting might improve because all we really get right now besides a few are 2nd tier Cali players. If, if this actually happens, this is a big win. No one knows how he'll do, but Shark is not fit to carry Peterson's gym bag. Peterson has won a BCS bowl....the Armenian Hamester never will.

I don't think many (if any) are saying we are getting Petersen. We are just saying it is a decent to good hire. One 8-4 season should not diminish everything Petersen has done. He's been mentioned for a lot of big openings and never left Boise. Getting him would be a coup. I think More Time has a point though, this is Scott Woodward trying to get him.

If we had a competent AD I would allow myself to get excited for Peterson. I don't think he's as bad as some in here think.
However, it's not happening! Pool Boy proved it last time as well. Remember UW was going to pay "big" money for a head coach then settled on a guy who was a coordinator for only two years at a school with the most talent in the nation.
Even our idiot fans want Nuss or Wilcox so there is no pressure to Pool Boy to make a big hire. He knows his fan base will support him if he settles for Wilcox or Nuss.
I seriously need to find a new hobby for Saturday's. Perhaps I can start my own hobby board or something. -
Feldman- a legit media guy said Peterson told him last summer he was finally open to other jobs.
We'll see what happens....just my guess that its going to be Peterson.
