I want the batshit crazy liberals to leave! If they all migrate to the socialist paradise of their choice America would be far better off. They'll all starve or be murdered by their chosen government. It's a win win!
It's almost as if you're not smart enough to make sense.

Bottom line: places where people like you are comfortable are poor and just have more bad shit. Poverty rates, crime rates, incest rates, bestiality rates, illiteracy rates, welfare rates ... I could go on.

There's a reason Mississippi is the shit hole it is. There are more you's there than me.

As it relates to California, while it has its problems, you should at least have the basics: in EU terms, Cali is Germany, and where you live is Greece. One needs the other, but not the other way around.

Liberal ruled states and cities are the most poverty ridden and violent places in the country. You might look some of that shit up before making stupid statements.

The northeast, west coast and mid-Atlantic. And your favorite place, California. What do they have in common?

14th in collegiate degrees. West Virginia was dead last.

    Thanks for proving my point.
That’s been the most useless measure since University of Phoenix and change started up.

It’s just funny to see all these Cali folks scream about other parts of the country being poor and uneducated when California has both the highest poverty rate and lowest percentage of the population with even high school diplomas.

    Simple facts...

Then let’s start the process of moving to a federalist system. What’s the point of these never-ending “my state is better than yours” arguments. Let’s just end it. Split up economically and socially. California is the fifth largest economy in the world. We dont need you and you’d prefer we leave. That’s what you want? Right?

There’s momentum here for that. Why don’t you back it up? Mutual defense and common currency. Nothing more. @Sledog is too big a pussy to take the offer. How big of a pussy are you?

Go and fuck off. Provide your own defense. You'll be Mexifornia in 20 years, 'cause all you faggy libbies can't even hold a gun without pissing your pants.

Two things: you bolded the wrong section; and no, I did not.

I stopped working for my retirement over 5 years ago my good freng. This is now for the kids ... so that come what may, they will have the means to educate my grandchildren properly and forever ensure that there be no Kewg in my line. That's pretty much all I have to care about.

As I said: I'm a real conservative. Present day enthusiasm for tax cuts and street fighters, while admirable, overlooks the compromises it has taken to get them. I'm a Reagan / Bush I republican. We don't like unions, we don't like barriers to the workings of free market economics and we like the freedom to win and live like it, even if at the expense of others.m We also fundamentally distrust the Russians because, well, you know. Missiles to the Persians is one thing. Getting in bed with the Red Scare is another. It's in their DNA.

If you can't get all that, then you're part of the new populism, and you will soon enough be dispatched. There's a McCarthy-esque storm a comin' honcho, and Red hunting season will soon be upon us. Find your hiding place punk. You can't have my stuff.
You've done pretty well for being a fucking hayseed cooger. Congrats on reaping the benefits of the greatest country there ever was. And congrats on putting your head down and getting it done.

Make America Great Again? Fuck that. America has always been great. The greatest.

It could be better, though. And not by pretending immigrants are the problem, or tariffs and isolationism are the solution. Those things are the marks of weaklings that can't compete. I don;t want to pay more for a fucking washing machine made in the USA unless I want to - and Whirlpool can fuck off if they think I should subsidize their operation. Free trade and cheap foreign labor may be a threat to a knucklehead that only knows how to put a control panel on a washing machine, but higher consumer prices are a threat to everybody. Make it cheapest, or make it good enough not to be cheapest, or get the fuck out. Trump must have a buddy at Whirlpool.

I also agree with you about the Russian thing, and I'm not talking about anything to do with the election. I'm talking about our president being a guy with deep business ties in Russia with people that would love nothing more than to see the US fail. Trump's love affair with Putin is bullshit. If Vlad Putin saying kind and flattering things about a US president doesn't give you pause, then your fucking head is in your ass. Maybe I watched Red Dawn a few too many times, but that shit makes me think the FISA court may have been right in having the FBI keep an eye on his ass.

Fuck. I got all buzzed up and then wasted my timne typing a bunch of Tequila-length bullshit that will only get read by a bunch of fucking donkeys. What a faggot.

Fuck you guys - I'm going back to drinking.

You’re leaving out more than a few of the other constitutional requirements like interstate commerce, but that is a minor point.

I am looking forward to your upcoming sequal to “Industrial Society and Its Future” though...

    Sounds good. That works too.
I am advocating for original constitutional federalism (i.e. Thomas Jefferson). The only one advocating for violence and civil war is you.

You sure no one here knows how to hold a gun? How long do you think a suburban King County trash-talking gun-slinger survives here?

    Yes. Quite.

    Agree. Minor points.

I am reading Carey McWilliam’s “California: the Great Exception” right now. You should give it a read.

This is really my poont. If I must pay into a charity pool, yeah, call me whatever you want, I'd rather pay into an albeit inefficiently managed pool to help those who truly can't help themselves. Not to subsidize industry so a bunch of people who can't adapt and find other work can keep working and making the same shit products at the cost of compromising my choices in the market.

We have, today, a truly Neo-Conservative, and they look a lot like the communist fucks on Peaky Blinders. Protectionism, fear of competition, fear of being challenged or anything new. Just deep down inside little fucking cowards afraid of change because they are laden with self-doubt about the ability of their gene pool to keep up.

It really doesn't matter what we write here, or what's going on in DC now, or what anyone thinks. All of it is inevitable. People by their nature move forward ... there are interim instances of going backwards, but it's temporary and overall a blip on the map of time.

You're a real piece of work sometimes. Go to California. Go to Connecticut. Go to Mass. Hell, come to Washington. Drive around. Talk to people. Buy something. Try and get a job somewhere.

Then go to, I don't know, Louisiana, Mississippi, West Virginia, Kentucky, Arkansas and do the same thing.

Then come back here and tell me about your experiences. Tell me where you run into a more educated and sophisticated crowd. Tell me where there is more happening by way of economic activity, investment, new industry, more people pushing the limits of who things are done, better universities, high cost of living as a proxy for demand to be there, etc. etc. etc.

Every single state in the union, bar none, has corners of white trash and decay. Go to Bridgeport Connecticut, then drive a few minutes soutwest until you get to Westport and eventually Old Greenwich. There's a difference.

When I'm in Mississippi, and yes, I've had to go there for work reasons, it's just 36 hours of being depressed by my surroundings. There are few little gems here and there - Nachez is ok - but 99% of the state is shit hole after shit hole filled with backwards hillbillies and people who can't speak English (or any other language).

Texas is about the only place that has a lot of both.

You are hitting on something. There are nice looking girls pretty much everywhere. There is a version of the good life, for some, involving moving to a poverty patch and playing Lord of the Manor. If you have a little money in these communities, you won't work hard to catch T&A. It'll come find you. I know people who've had to move to places they didn't like as they rode the corporate escalator ... and some of them do speak fondly of living in back-asswards places on that one score. Still, most of them wanted out eventually.
