Is DAT the closest thing to the "Rocket"?

I'll take (in order) Reggie Bush, DAT, then Rocket.
-
Bush wasn't an electric ST Guy. Ismail was Desmond Howard with speed (Howard won a Heisman). I believe DAT could win a heismman next yearCollegeDoog said:Reggie Bush is the greatest college football player I've ever seen. Certainly better than DAT. Never watched "the rocket" play.

Yes, he was. I remember Bush having some great punt returns. The one against Oregon State in the fog comes to mind. He had one for a TD against UW as well. Howard and Ismail were a little before my time, and I am sure they were electric, but Reggie Bush was pretty damn good as a punt returner.puppylove_sugarsteel said:

I am curious to see DAT this year. He should have an expanded role now that Barner is gone, but I wonder how many touches he will get. The Heisman has gone to a QB in 11 of the past 12 years, so I doubt he will win it. He is an incredible player though.

Ismael was explosive, and changed games as a return man, but come on, he had 9 total TDs from scrimmage in 3 years.
-
No one was more electric than Jack Lockner when he walked across lake washington to save us all.

Touchdown Timmy > Rocket

Perhaps. Although with college I think stats seem like a silly thing to point to considering no one is saying Timmy Chang is one of the greatest players ever. Vick performance against FSU in the national championship was the greatest thing I've ever seen. Vince Young was great against USC but USCs defense was awful that year. Florida State had Tech beat at every position but quarterback and their defense was great.RoadDawg55 said:

Pretty much that was a really good Florida State team. If you look at Frank Beamer's coaching at VaTech you'll quickly notice the Vick years.

For a guy who is always talking shit about how much he knows about football, he sure posts a lot of dumb shit. He also predicted Cal to win the North last year and posted last week that Talia Crichton matured into a good player at UW.He_Needs_More_Time said:

I noticed in life if you have to constantly tell someone you are good or knowledgeable at something you really aren't.RoadDawg55 said:

It's worth noting that in Vicks only other loss, to Miami his second year, he had a badly sprained ankle and could barely walk.He_Needs_More_Time said:TheKobeStopper said:

Worth noting to your worth noting Vick had two losses in college. One was to national championship Florida State the other to a Miami team that was in the middle of a 34 game winning streak.TheKobeStopper said:
