    Also - @BlastDoor - it's not a waste. Jimmy Lake is going to leave at some point. We need to train a replacement. He's coached special teams and our special teams (minus Dante) weren't very special.

    Think somebody other than Boner might leave? I checked Oregon State coaching staff and there's only one other spot open, at RB, probably for Boner.

    He does fit the profile of a guy that Pete would hire in that he's an up-and-comer.

    Also - make no mistake, this is about recruiting LA as well. He's got a nice balance between being serious and being a relatable badass.
