All bullshit joking aside, Cody was a TUFF motherfucker. He'd be absolutely lights out on this team. I'm talking doing damage in the CFP lights out. Kid could play and was tough as nails. He is literally as far away from Browning on the manly scale as you can be. He is just what this team is missing.
We could have Jake Locker running read option plays and throwing 10 times a game off of play action with this team and we would win the fucking natty. Fuck.

Da Fuq would someone downvote that? Jesus. Dude does financial planning and coaches ball. Helluva lot better than that Ex-Cuog linebacker who off'd his wife this week.
Cody Pickett and his wife were roaming the sidelines. His wife is barely 5 feet tall. Cody, @YellowSnow would like a word. Hopefully their kids get his genes and not hers. I'm assuming he went to the game to watch Brownsocks fully grab the "Overrated UW QB wearing #3 with amazing stats" title away.
I too find the sudden support of how good Cody was to be a bit surprising, since the narrative was always how he had great stats but never won.
I will take abundance though. Cody was a tough SOB through his sophomore year. He had to play in an emergency as a redshirt frosh in the Rose Bowl and didn't fuck it up. He played through injuries as a sophomore and had some unreal games considering his injuries and his team. He ran the option just fine, but I think that's what led to his injuries.
So of course then as a junior and Reggie Williams in the fold, we become a chuck it around the field team and abandon the option. Which leads to great stats for Cody but fewer wins. He had the NFL look and was probably a top 3 round pick after his junior year.
Then of course he got fucked by Rick getting fired, and the team wasn't as good as it was supposed to be. Threw some really bad INTs his senior year (especially when trying to come from behind in the 2nd half- sound familiar?), but at least got that Apple Cup win.
I agree we'd go 13-0 with him as QB, but he'd need to play more like sophomore/junior Cody and not senior Cody.
That's a good article about how he's moved on and is ok with how his career played out, cause he sure had some bad luck between injuries and coaching changes.

Comparing Jake and Cody as juniors is a joke. Cody would be insane on this team.
Fair enough
Pickett would tea bag fat boy Darnold.
Here's what Cody's up to these days: https://idahopress.com/special_sections/sportstars/legacy-award-winner-cody-pickett/article_069f0d73-5095-5f65-8206-07a461120d2a.html

Oh, and he committed to Lambo originally.
