    If you've ever been there, you know Switzerland is a pretty nice place. Except for Davos. The Musselmann immigrants have been pretty hard on it.

    Actually I've been meaning to write an actual non-shitty response to your actual non-shitty poast on my pro-Switzerland thred. Maybe later today if I get more time than to just shitpoast.

    I'm not saying a government beaurocracy will solve the problems, so don't twist.

    But obligating the providers to compete for the business will inherently drive down costs. ECON 101 for dummies.

    Oddly enough, Switzerland has both private provision of both health insurance and health care providers and universal coverage. I'd be down for the Swiss system of healthcare in the US.

    Better queery, Let me know how the track record of the Government being semi-involved in health insurance... like ya know, here in the real world, has helped lower premiums and cost of care so far.
