Trump on Syria

Big if true.Dude61 said:For those swallowing the CNNNBCMSNBC propaganda let's review:
In 2013 and 2014 the US tried to frame Assad with using chemical weapons and both times proven to be hoaxes.
Assad surrendered all his chemical weapons in 2014, confirmed by the UN and Ketchup Boy Kerry.
Assad is on the verge of winning the war as well as support from Trump. He would not risk starting an all out war with the neocons by using chemical weapons on the enemy, much less his own people. There is no benefit.
BTW, investigative reporter Seymor Hirsch published a report in 2014 explaining how Hillary Clinton had taken the sarin gas weapons from Libya after the invasion and sold them the the "moderate rebels" in Syria.
In the end, if Trump wants to allow the military to unload old Tomahawk inventory on an airstrip to keep the neocons happy, I am ok with that. -

Having perhaps lost the support of much of his anti-war base, President Trump appears to have won praise from two new groups...

If it is a one-off, this strike is the very definition of a symbolic pinprick. It was launched with highly precise weapons against the airfield from which the Syrian chemical attack emanated. According to reports, we apprised Russian personnel at the base beforehand, meaning the Syrians effectively had advance warning as well.

Waiting for JDAM bukakke. -
From the aftermath videos that I've seen not much damage was done unless it was radar or some other operational targets that were taken out. Russia was warned of the attack but they also just suspended the anti-conflict agreement so I guess they aren't happy about it.
Maybe Trump really did do a 180 on Syria and this bombing is a legitimate response. Maybe this is a dog and pony show to drum up artificial conflict with Russia. Maybe ill change my handle to @Dude62. -
Things change. If you can't handle the ups and downs of international politics then maybe you should get a new hobby.UWhuskytskeet said: -
