I had a break from Pullman, so I visited frens in a Seattle apt. My friend had a lovely sister. Unfortunately, Bruce Jarvis (UW & Bills center) was there with a (name redacted because he is a great guy and very highly accomplished person) crew member. Amid presumed girlfriend issues, Jarvis blasted the crew guy and 450 pounds demolished the shitty coffee table. It ended with a yelling match and each went home alone. This was well before 'bros before hos'. 1970 was special.

I was at a party with Kent and he was wearing a Dawgman shirt. I asked him what Dawgman was, if it was related to UW football and that I was a big UW fan. When he said it was a UW site, I said, huh, never heard of it. -
