I got put in at linebacker in the 9th grade and of course they ran their 23 year old fullback right at me. I grabbed him and fell backwards forcing him to fall on me.
I got pulled immediately and noticed the coaches were laughing at me. -
Best tackle of my high school football career. Perfect form. Almost killed the guy. Our entire defense stopped thinking the play was over. Apparently it was an option because the guy I hit didn't have the ball. Ball carrier ran for a 40 year gain.

I solo tackled Dustin Staley (played for BYU) in high school on a kickoff. Grabbed him by the facemask and it wasn't called.
To this day I tell people I gunneysacked him. -
In middle school football I was the mvp of the 5th quarter.

I hit a home run off of this future MLB player in Little League. I really wanted him to have a longer career.
