You shouldn't take your recruiting insight from @DerekJohnson on SirmonTierbsHsotBoobs said:

Don't you think budding Pac12 QB's can watch Jake play, and see the fucked up offensive calls from the OC that undermine and constrain him? There's a "system" in place that fails against the top tier teams. UW is still knocking on the door of winning the "Big One" until they aren't. And the passing game, for all Jake's TD's is lacking.Dennis_DeYoung said:
Perhaps more to the point, he had other P12 offers. Since we got him, we have not been able to sign a QB with other P12 offers.Tequilla said:
Yes - for his shortcomings that he has to improve on he is still a very high end PAC12 QBTierbsHsotBoobs said:

Recruiting is sales. That's it. If you think kids are paying that close attention and analyzing it like that, you are FS. If you can sell, you can recruit. The opposite it true as well. -
If you don't think Sirmon is a good QB prospect you should never talk about TBS ever, ever, ever again. Ever.TierbsHsotBoobs said:

@Dennis_DeYoung the ease of recruiting for a few of the coaches I think also speaks very well about the talent coming out of WA. No excuses for Polish mortician and the Bad German, but there's enough talent for losers and average coaches to bring in quality players? For ex, I had no idea about Tyron and Gaye until late in the process. In a convoluted way, that speaks well for UW moving forward.

Partially agree. Inadequate weaponry and skill players had little to do with our offensive dysfunction, compared with shitty play calling that didn't maximize strengths.Tequilla said:
It's been more than just Browning that has our issues against top tier teams ... this recruiting class with the size/speed combo that we have on the outside will go a long way to fixing some of those issues.TurdBuffer said:

Be nice, DDY. It's a long, steep wheelchair ride from Petrovisky to 167. Hate to see another tree get in your way.Dennis_DeYoung said:
