How can anyone ever forget the Crapple Cup. I know I'll never forget it.

2002 will always hold a special place in my heart. We had just boat raced Oregon the week prior and I had joined the rest of those un classy Husky fans partying on the field afterwards at Autzen. Some old dude who was allegedly the legendary @RaceBannon even showed up at our post game tailgate to smoke weed and talk shit. We sucked that year but our fan base still had plenty of swagger.
Fast forward a week, and The Northwest Championship seemed to be slipping away as we trailed the Cuogs by 10 with 4 minutes left in regulation, but as I drunkenly stood on a bench inside the Duchess leading the entire tavern in the “GO!!…..Huskies!!” cheer, we somehow managed to force OT and the rest is history. I think that’s the highest – i.e., #3 - that WSU has ever been ranked for an Apple Cup, right? -

We're likely never to see a 3 year stretch of Coogin' it like this in our lifetimes as we saw from 2001- 03. They were ranked #9, #3 and #8 in those three years respectively. We were ranked once at #16 in 2001. Shit Apple Cup -
1990 - Pullman. Combo Apple Cup/buddy's bachelor party weekend.
Got so inebriated I left the stadium about midway through the 3rd quarter with the huskies up about 973-0. Blew stew somewhere on the Pullman campus. Stumbled around and miraculously woke up in my car the next morning.
May have been ass-plungered but pretty sure Emptermann used up all the ass-plungering that day on the field.
