Tequilla: Will be a bridge starter for the program and be a slightly better version of Keith Price
So you're saying he will be second all time behind Cody Pickett in terms of his passing numbers?
I call bullshit.
Just because Keith Price was a 3 year starter and had the time to put up those numbers doesn't mean he was good. Are you gonna measure receivers by how close they get to Jaydon's receiving numbers too?

I agree with your premise.
But I doubt a "bridge starter" would be better than Price.

Price is the second best QB we? have had this century, but still.

Confusing talent with numbers ...
Price was an above average PAC starter at the QB position ... probably not a good enough QB to be a conference winning QB without a highly talented team surrounding him.
If Price was as good as his numbers said he was, he would be sitting on a NFL roster somewhere.

League average QB's suck. That was what Price was. Plenty of good college QB's don't make it in the NFL. I bet 95% of them do make it past Rookie minicamp. Price has never even participated in a training camp.

Price is a doog legend. The HHB version.
Price was damn good until he got broken. He was not particularly good at the end of his UW career, but I blame Sark/Cozetto for that much more than I do Price. He was a TUFF kid who kept going back out there despite not having the mobility to protect himself. Even hobbled, Price was easily the best UW QB since Pickett. Tallest midget, sure, but tallest nonetheless.

He's a fag who is best friends with Jaydon Mickens and Marvin Hall. He didn't work hard. He was more interested in "swagging" with his Cali bros than winning games.
He was a perfect player for Sark. Sark was a loser. So was Price. Hugh lost all credibility because he sucked Locker's dick. He even gave him a B when he went 4-20, but the reasons I gave are why Price caught shit.
A QB from Idaho named Taylor Kelly had a much better college career than Price. Price is better than those other QB's like Sark is better than Ty.
If Kim and Hugh praised Proce, the reaction here would be different. Instead you guys hang onto meaningless stats from an era where QB's are far more prolific.
Even in his "great" sophomore year, Price was probably the 4th or 5th best QB in the conference. His junior year he was definitely below average. His senior year he was 7th in QBR and most of his passes consisted of bubble screens. A lot of QB's would look good with the skill players around him.
Tl,dr: Price sucked unless you consider league average QB's who don't win, good.
Throwing the ball, Price and Kelly, for their careers, are about equal. The difference is that Kelly could run with the ball. But your point is valid. Price was, at best, an average P12 QB. Combined with a defense led by Wilcox,,, ugly.
It's great to have you back on this board. Losing quality posters is not something this board can afford, despite the fact that you piss me off more often than not.

The point about Kelly is that nobody on this board considered him good yet he was better than Price in every statistical category, including wins.
It's a new season Az. If we win I think we will all mostly get along.
I'm taking the other side on Nick Harris. The hardcore TBS'ing I've done in the last month discovered that he had the highest SPARQ rating at some NAMBLA event last summer. He will end up reminding us of Frank Garcia. Book it.

For the talent on the roster he wasn't good enough to win at a high level with ... that's not really debatable
