Doogin pretty hard over here

On Defense: Baker, Gaines, Jones, King, Mathis, Qualls, Vea and Victor are also locks.
There are no RS or true frosh on the list, so no Potatoe, Mcgrew, Roberts, Wattenberg, Murphy etc. Also not included are some others that have a shot, guys like Pettis, Joyner, McClatcher, Gardenhire, Mcintosh, Dissly, Johnson etc.
Its weird having these feelings of excitement and I just hope Im not fucking myself but the talent on this team, and moving forward feels different and legitimate. I think Im gonna doog myself to sleep tonight.

Personally, the only UW guys who have played consistently well enough to be deemed "locks" are Jones, Baker, Victor, and Qualls. As in all 4 of those guys will get drafted, barring any injuries or ridiculous declines.
The majority of the guys who you've listed are based on where we optimistically expect them to be in a few years. Browning, Adams, McGary, Gaines, Vea all have only played one year as freshmen and while they all looked promising, they need to actually make the necessary improvements before we can start calling them NFL locks.
The seniors you mentioned in Daniels, Mathis, and King are all NFL-level athletes but they need some work before they get serious consideration. Mathis and Daniels are both tweeners size-wise and need to establish what clear cut position that they can play at the pro level, then train their bodies accordingly. King just needs to finally figure out how to size up, which I don't even know if he's capable of.
Ross coming back as his old self after the knee surgery is no guarantee. If he can come back though, then he's an instant lock because of his speed, regardless of unpolished route running.
Gaskin just needs to have consistent production in the next few years while steadily improving. He doesn't have prototypical NFL size or speed, which is the only reason he isn't a lock already. But if he can have a college career like Ka'Deem Carey or Stepfan Taylor, he'll probably wind up drafted in the 3rd or 4th round to be used as a reliable depth option. -

Ross will be back.... Full go...he will have a big year.

The only thing that matters next season is this:
Can we stop being losers?
This mediates everything else. If we can't stop blowing it on 3rd downs on D, blowing leads, crapping our pants when we are down 5 and have the ball inside of 7 minutes to go (fuck I miss Marques), everything else is fucking pointless.
If we play the exact same as last year and win every game where we have the ball and the chance to win, we win at Boise, we beat Oregon, we beat ASU, Cal and we beat Utah. I don't hate Browning, but simply throwing Marques back there would have been good for 5 wins. We choked all of those games away. We ended 7-6. With a team that doesn't fold, that is 12-1.
It looks like we have at least 7 all conference players on D (Qualls, Gaines, Victor, Bierria, King, Jones, Baker), if someone else steps up we could have more (Mathis, Dissly, #whitepeoplesTevis, #RappCulture, #JoJoTownsell). On offense we are adding a playmaker and getting one more year for our OLine, etc.
All the personnel in the world isn't going to matter if we have the ball and a chance to win in 5 games and don't win those games. We aren't going to fucking blow everyone out.
My 'if' list:
1) If we've run enough early in the game to wear teams down for the fourth quarter (hardy har har)...
2) If we've gotten good enough to make sure that in the 4th quarter a ball thrown into the hands of a LB is an INT instead of one of our fucktarded loser retards pounding his fists on the turf...
3) If someone comes back to tie us, our playmakers on offense find a way to make big plays (see: Corndog Bowl)...
4) If Browning stands in the pocket, makes plays with his feet and delivers accurate balls (and doesn't take sacks and throw the ball away) when we are behind late in games...
Then we will be really fucking good. But none of that shit has to do with personnel and talent. -
Not enough 4 star WR's, not enough flash, not enough zoom. I don't see it guys!
-
If browning can connect on more than 3% of his deep balls. That would also be a nice positive for next season.

slow your roll penace. Petersen should be fired remember? He only won 6 games with Miley. He had 4 1st round draft picks on defense, he should have won 10. Last year he should have won 11. He should have started Lindy , Pete kept jon smith at OC, should be accountable and fired. He should have taken a knee at Arizona instead of handing off to Cooper, fire him he cant coach. He should have started Lindy in C a ctus bowl, we are doomed he cant coach.
You buttfuckers all have arthritis in the knees from jumping on off the Pete wagon. You flappy twats "chincredibling" this post are all guilty. Go jump on the seahawks wagon where you belong -

The idea that Ross will be a question mark healthy wise from a knee injury that will be almost 2 years old be the beginning of the season is laughable to me.jecornel said:Ross will be back.... Full go...he will have a big year.
Trust me, his athletic ability right now isn't indicative of a guy that is worried about a knee injury that he had. -

@Dennis_DeYoung is right.
On paper the talent + easy schedule is worth 9 wins. They need to develop that winning mentality to get to 10/11 wins and be a legit top 15 team that is in the national discussion.
With the Seahawks you knew they had in 2012. They dont get tight in close games, they don't change if the other team comes back and they dont worry if they are way behind.
This husky team has proven they can come back and I think they will have more confidence this season that they can close the deal. But can they hold onto leads in close games? Totally blew it against ASU then almost blew it in the bowl game. Holding on there was a small step if anything. What worries me is their ability to close tight games against Stanford, Oregon, USC, ASU. That is what will define the season. They will have a handful of close games and if they can go 2-2 or 3-2 in those then it will be a successful season. If they go 1-3 or 1-4 then it wont be a successful season. -

Listen new fish, you ignorant cunt. Dont crawl over here from kims corral and spew rubbish in hopes of sounding edumacated. Adams is the best NFL talent on the whole roster so yes he is a lock. Did you watch him pancake every guy he faced last year? As a zit faced true freshman? Wai t till he discovers a weight room.
Mathis is so far from NFL material it hurts to carry his scholly, Daniels has the hands of girls basketball player so i dont think either are going to the league there mr NFL GM. Kinv was the best corner on the field at times, and at legit 6-3 will get drafted no problem. His anticipation and ball skills blew even me away (he was the biggest pussy this program ever had a t safety, but it made him a good corner)
Ross is so fluid he could come back at 80% and be the best weapon on offense next to Gaskin. So reading into that is silly. Gaines was the best interior dlineman on the field last year, wtf are you talking about. He is a bull rusher, incredibly natural strong, very hard to handle 1 on 1 as a fucking pudgy freshman. Again, wait till he finds a weight room.
Now my favorite fuckup of yours, Gaskin. Carey and Taylor? WTF kind of comparisons are those. Totally different backs, different sizes. If you used Quiz Rodgers i would have at least raised my eyebrow a little. Gaskin is the best freshman back since kaufman, and will shatter his record. Yes Gaskin has NFL speed and who cares if he has nfl size, he needs to be great at UW. And how does he "steadily need to improve?" He's already great butthuff.
