Rosen isn't the right kind of QB for Kelly. Chip would have to recruit/develop some runner and take his lumps with Chosen for the next two years, all under a huge microscope.
$4M/yr for Herman might get him to move to LA. -
Something about Mora has always screamed to me All Hat, No Cattle.
Is Mora really Sark + two top 25 finishes?
Herman loves mobile QBs too though. His QB ran it 20 times in the bowl game vs. FSU and carried the ball 178 times in the regular season. That's pretty much the opposite of Rosen (though Rosen may only have 2 years left at UCLA and Herman could tailor his offense to him while getting his own guys in there).
If Mora does leave, I just hope UCLA hires a mediocre coach in the Karl Dorrell / Neuheisel vein and sticks around 4 or 5 years. -
He's not bad. I do disagree about him being a coordinator. I think it's kind of the opposite. He can run a program, motivate, and recruit. His defenses have mostly sucked or at least underachieved his entire career though.PurpleJ said:I would disagree slightly with you Roadie. Mora CAN coach, but he isn't anything special.
