I think you might be surprised at how many members of the military would flatly refuse to do active battle with US citizens. The military respects the constitution and citizens more than the jack booted thugs in police ninja suits do.
Agree with the 1st half. Disagree with the 2nd. Many of the jack booted thugs in ninja suits spent time in the military and part of the communities they serve. I don't necessarily see them taking up arms against the citizenry.

I don't have your faith. Now, small town cops and stuff, sure, agree. But big city police forces and federal agents? Um, yeah. Hi Ruby Ridge. Hi Waco. Hi three hundred other out of control police issues. I like cops for the most part. Where I live they are well integrated into the community and do a lot of good. But big city cops and federals are a whole different ballgame. The jack booted thug variety of ballgame and trusting them is not part of my game plan.
