I wasn't a huge Nip fan, but obviously he was good.

I wanted to be just like Corey Dillon, so I was just a random asshole to people, whined a lot and committed a lot of date rape.
I would say I got pretty close.
I did what I could with what I have, anyway. -
Gaskin is a pure vision and lateral runner. His lateral cut and speed in and out of sideways glides are insane.Dennis_DeYoung said:I love Gaskin and I don't see the similarities. Nip was a very different runner.
Kaufman is a force of nature. -
I was 6 and saw Kaufman play and knew I wanted to play football.

Actually good point, McGrew will be more similar to Kaufman when he gets in.TTJ said:
Me neither. Sankey, maybe. Or Shehee.Dennis_DeYoung said:I love Gaskin and I don't see the similarities. Nip was a very different runner.
Stylistically, McGrew is closer to Kaufman.
McGrew is a bigger DAT, so basically he can be a running back, where DAT would struggle holding up there. His foot speed in and out of cuts is crazy and his top end speed is legit. -
I missed the first half of that game because I was at a Bar Mitzvah.phineas said:Seeing kaufman take the ball and run 90 yards down the sideline was my first real memory of husky football. I wanted to be like him. It's just too bad I'm tall skinny and slow

They're nothing alike other than good and short.

And need to study film a bit more. Athletic. Raw talents.dnc said:They're nothing alike other than good and short.

I seriously almost edited it for that. But almost every RB these days fits that description. Other than McCaffree and McGrew.Dennis_DeYoung said:

Those guys are just workers. You might have more talent but you'll never outwork them. Gym rats. Like two coaches on the field.dnc said:

Both deceptively fast, too.
During the CLEMPSUN game Fowler called their (our?) white punt returner scrappy; then said Dalvin Cook got a first down on 'pure talent'; Herbie gave a little grunt and he added, 'and hard work'.
Priceless moments in the broadcast booth. -
fuck, what asshole changed the music?
