Can't stand when people demand wins out of a coach, huh?

I guarantee I hate losing more than anyone here, but let me tell you in roughly 10,000 words why losing in this case is totally justified.PurpleJ said:Can't stand when people demand wins out of a coach, huh?

Koetter was probably the best and most legit out of the legendary BS coaches. He rarely won against ranked teams...like Peteresen now.

Don't worry @Mad_Son's got you covered on that.ThomasFremont said:

The knock on Smith (besides stupid play-calls and general results) has been his youth and lack of experience. I thus did a search for the teams with the highest amount of rushing yards per game, removed option teams, and then looked for teams on or close to the West Coast with more experienced play-callers.
Would you go for a young, hot-name OC?RoadDawg55 said:
Is this a whoosh? If not, please never post again. You picked some of the worst possible retreads possible. The guy from New Mexico might be decent. The others suck.HFNY said:How about:

Or even going back to the well one more time since Harsin was the best OC Petersen had:

Statistically they're pretty bad. I get last year was a transition year and Miles was a pothead weak armed chump, and this year they're young (again), but they can do better. He's not maximizing what talent there is. I know it's cool to throw the ball 55 times a game now, but you have to custom your offense to what works and what personnel you have. I don't feel like they're doing that. It seems like they're going to do it their way come hell or high water, and good coaches adapt.TTJ said:
You could be right. I just feel like it's hard to tell from the data available.Fire_Marshall_Bill said:Smith is a Little Sky caliber coordinator. Throw a dart on a map and you could find a better one.
