It might be. We don't really know at this point. The Pac 12 (which sucks!!) doesn't really have a dominant team and everyone is going to beat up on everyone else, especially with SC and whOregon going the mediocre coach route lately. I won't hold my breath for Utah stepping up.
This board would go ballistic if they had lost. We all know that.
Offense still sucks and Mickens needs to stay wit his homies in LA, but the defense looked awesome and defense wins championships.
Of course this board would have went ballistic if we blew a 17-6 lead with 8 minutes left.

I'm still not a fan of Babushka's but Browning will start hitting those deep throws, hopefully as soon as the Oregon game. Running game also looked more physical and it's more mature with Eldrenkamp back in and Kirkland at RT (though he has plenty of room for improvement).
It would be nice if the people who ran around crying that the sky was falling during the bye week could admit they went overboard....
The offense still sucks and I've always said the defense is good. Last year was still a huge disappointment and I'm still pissed about the Cal game and Petersen/Smith being retarded and not running the ball more.

OL actually looked good. Kirkland was better than McGary or James have been all year at RT and Eldrenkamp played well at LG. I agree that this game could have been a lot different if Browning hit even a couple of big throws. He missed almost every one.
If you were setting odds based on the last decade the smart money is still on UW sucking.
In other words, they do until they don't. Last night was great. I'll watch it again tonight.
But we better fucking beat Oregon.
I expect 7-5 at least and that's more an expectation than a prediction, but I might have predicted it too. So that's 4-3. It's not expecting that much.
It's Washington. 4-8 or 5-7 is bullshit. I'm not going to stoop to that level.
Smith is the main obstacle here. The youth will get experience over the year, and yeah, there will be some really fucking frustrating moments, and fans will go ballistic and the sky will fall.

Praise for wins and criticism for losses.
Quite honestly I thought they were going to
When we went 3 and out after USC cut it to 17-12, I thought there was a good chance of losing. Then Sark called three passing plays in a row and bailed us out.
I hope you're right and Browning puts together his first good game against a Pac-12 team. I like how Lenius stepped up vs. USC and he's a mismatch against Oregon's shaky secondary.

I can tell you want me to ask and I'm a nice guy so....can you admit some people went overboard on Petersen after the Cal loss, perhaps even including yourself?

Mission accomplished.
And some people were talking about 3-9 or 4-8 after the loss to Cal...that to me was going overboard. One posterFS also said USC would beat UW 58-10.

I don't give a fuck if anybody wants to call it "signature".
The fact that you don't get it is sad.
