Eason enrolling early

I actually compared him to 3 1st round picks:
Cutler played at Vandy and got a boat load of credit for taking them I believe to a bowl game because they are Vandy. Had some decent years in the pro's but consensus wise he's massively underperformed.
Stafford was the #1 overall pick. He's had a solid college and pro career full of numbers but has never won anything. This would be my top call on the path that Eason takes.
Johnny Football won a Heisman but looks to flame out in the NFL.
I guess when I say bust, I'm not thinking Jake Heaps style bust. I'm thinking more in terms of being a guy that puts up big numbers, doesn't win as much as you'd think he should, and nobody can seemingly figure out why. He just comes across to a guy that thinks he's the shit and should be crowned ... maybe/hopefully I'm wrong because I like to see guys succeed, particularly the local guys.
It's not the first time I've put out a controversial opinion and it won't be the last. -
What percentage of top rated HS qbs come close to equaling the career success of Jay Cutler?
If I'm a 17 year old QB and someone tells me that I'd better buckle down or face the career trajectory of Cutler, I'd crack a beer, torch a bowl eat a bag of Doritos, and screw the first sophomore jersey chased I could find in celebration. -
We're talking like a bunch of butthurt coogs
-
if he has the career of Johnny football in college and you think he is the problem or he flamed out that is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Quit digging the hole you're in.
-
I just don't see him as a winner ...
Could be a big stats doesn't win player ...
Could just flat out flame out ...
Either way, it will be interesting. -
Eason is a dawg. Cook it.

Manziel was probably the most dominant college QB ever in terms of single handedly affecting a game. VY is a close secondL, but Manziel was a way better passer.AtomicDawg said:if he has the career of Johnny football in college and you think he is the problem or he flamed out that is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. You literally have no way of knowing at this point in time, but either way it'll be interesting.Tequilla said:I just don't see him as a winner ...

Manziel was way the fuck overrated.WilburHooksHands said:
Run around for 30 seconds then throw up a jumpball in triple coverage for Mike Evans does not equal dominant QB.

If any Uw quarterback was 81% as good as manziel people would be creaming their sweatpants across the nw for decades. I still see people on this bored from time to time defending jack lockner. Manziel was a hype machine. He was also good. a lot of the games he lost were shootouts. Lots of teams have good wrs but don't get the results that he did.dnc said:

Good I can get behind. Dominant, no sir. Heisman winner was a joke.AtomicDawg said:
There's plenty of room for him to be overrated and still a massive upgrade over our last 15 years of dreck. -
I didn't read any of this, but f you guys stop poasting!
Screw you guys. -
You guys deserve it. -
Definitely not the best I've seen. But tenow was an awesome college qb and gave shuffle passes to Percy Harvin. Marriotta was good but his scheme has wide open streakers iltctt all damn day.
Having good wrs is nothing new for good qbs in college.
Luck is way better than both of them but he is a once in a generation type. -

I hate all of you. -
Never bring him up again. -
Ever. -
Disagree.

I'm not just saying he had a good receiver, I'm saying he got away with a crazy ass jump ball at least once a game just because he had Mike Evans. There's maybe three receivers in CFB history with the height, leaping ability, hands and strength to bail him out like Evans did, Moss, Megatron and I dont even know the third.AtomicDawg said:Definitely not the best I've seen. Yes, Mariota wasn't terrible. He wasn't Heisman worthy either, IMO. -
You feeling okay lately Tequilla?! Only 7 words??? Where the heck is the rest of your poast?Tequilla said:I think his ceiling is Stafford ...

Hmmm yeah time to give Dennis a timeout.

It's not f'ing right. -
Eason will be a dawg...
A Georgia Bulldog. Cook it. -
Johnny Manziel is a likely bust in the NFL. He was fucking great in college though. Confirmation bias at it's finest. Lol that he didn't deserve the Heisman. The other finalists were Manti Teo and Colin Klein (K State).
Look at his freshman year stats then factor in that he beat Alabama and his team was 11-2. They lost two games by 8 total points. There was nothing overrated about him.
His sophomore year was a little worse, but he played for the black Sark and A&M had one of the worst defenses in the country.
If we're talking overrated Heisman winners, it's Jameis Winston, not Manziel.

Jameis was bad ass his frosh year. Totally deserved it.
That Bama RB a few years ago was the weakest winner in some time. -
@Dennis_DeYoung is a man of his demented word.
